If you want a real French 'pension' experience this clean and characterful little hotel is excellent value for money. The hotel also has its own restaurant serving good fixed price menus featuring local specialities. The proprietor is always welcoming and helpful

Another good visit to a charming little hotel of real character

I do not think that this hotel is the perfect choice, as it is clean but not elegant, price is not cheap when breakfast is included while they serve quite good food for dinner. Better for the young and one-night stay. Wifi was very efficient, by the way.

Average

I have now stayed at this lovely little hotel a few times whilst visiting family in the area. The owner is always very helpful and the rooms very clean and comfortable. As I am often a single traveller I have always felt looked after and safe. If you want a real 'French'experience in the heart of an authentic little French market town then this is for you. There is a good restaurant in the hotel as well as many bars and  bistros in walking distance. There is also an excellent market every Saturday.

A continued really good experience

Feeling relaxed after spending two nights here and hope to return again later in 2015.  This is a historic building which has been brought into the 21st century with excellent facilities. The decor is tastefully modern while retaining its period character. You can be sure of a warm welcome from the owner and the staff who go to every length to make your stay comfortable and I have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant with its wide range of local dishes, both tasty and carefully-presented.

Charming hotel

My husband and I stayed here for one night in March.  We arrived on Sunday Afternoon.  We were taken to our room which was very large and confortable.  The inn keeper brought us a snack and wine.  After a long trip on the train this was wonderful.

Since it was Sunday, the entire town was closed.   This was unfortunate for us.  However, the Owner offered to come back and cook us dinner.  We allowed him to decide the menu and cook what he had.  The food was absolutely delicious!  We had a private restaurant. 

The only negative I would say is to come on a weekday instead of Sunday.  We were unable to explore the little town since all was closed.  The Owner was a most gracious host.  You really do get so much more than you would expect from a two star hotel.
