Just completed a 3 night stay at Cases Couleurs. Opun entering the grounds you are impressed by the setting, verandas from idyllic buildings that look right out of Africa. The sunsets from the pool area are magical, don't miss them.A couple of items to remember:- Google maps will tell you to take an incorrect road, the road is down the hill. There are signs for the place so look for the signs.- there are no toiletries so bring your own soup and hair products.- you may find no one at reception when checking in. There is a phone number to call and the person will be there in a few minutes. I did not have service so this was my one negative about my stay. The staff are very nice once you get past the calling part. - there is no daily service. Not sure you can pay extra for it but I did not require it. - the kitchen was great to have. There is a Casino supermarket 1km up the hill.

Picture perfect location

We spent three nights here. Apartments are well-equipped, tidy and clean. Owner was a bit confused with our booking as we booked for a different rate then he wrote down on his bill. Fortunately we had the confirmation of the other rate with us.

Nice apartments

We just spent a week there and like it a lot. Quiet, everybody in the place nice people, and allowed us a late check out without a problem. If ever go to the apartament make sure to rent a car when landing in the island. 

Nice place to stay

We stayed for 12 nights in September/October 2016 and were very happy with the quality of the accommodation and location. The gardens are really well maintained and cared for. Yes, would suggest arriving in daylight if you can, as finding Cases Couleurs in the dark could be difficult (there is no sign on the main road), but it is worth the effort. We were well aware that we were booking self catering accommodation and it worked extremely well for us. The kitchen had all that we needed, other than an oven, but was well equipped and we used the BBQ area a lot which was very good. You do need a car to get the most out of the island and to shop for food etc. which is all very close by (large supermarket/shopping mall 10 minutes away) but again, we were aware of that when we booked. We were also prepared with a plug in mosquito repellent for the room (European plug) and anti mosquito body spray, look for a  high deet %)  anyway, we had absolutely no problems with mosquitos, with both deterrents sourced via Amazon. The swimming pool was immaculately maintained as are the gardens. The owners were really helpful and overall thought that the accommodation was really good value for money and we would stay there again if the opportunity arose. Highly recommended.

Very relaxing stay in lovely surroundings.

Stayed here with my baby daughter and my parents whilst visiting my brother and his wife. The gites are great and the individual touches are very thoughtful. The staff were helpful with any equipment that I needed for my daughter e.g cot and high chair. They even found a baby bath which was lovely. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful. Having breakfast on the patio was a great way to start the day. The highlight however is the pool, the views are stunning. 

The downside however is that it is a drive to St. Leu and the beaches. There are no shops or bakeries close by so planning is a must!! There is also a problem with mosquitos make sure that you pack mosquito repellant.

Beautiful setting and very helpful

We stayed for 3nts on our honeymoon. Disappointing sums it up.
The location was out of town, either a car, a serious walk (3.5km) or a 100 euro taxi (we were told) if you want to go out for dinner - not what we'd planned for our honeymoon.

The room was completely ridden with mosquitos, I have travelled to a lot of the world, and never had i experienced it like this inside a room with the doors shut - they need to locate the source of mosquitos, obviously have some breeding very close to the rooms, as even up by the pool its not as bad.

Be warned this place is self catering, despite being sold as a hotel it is not. I don't mind not having clean towels (in fact I prefer to save water and reuse) but when the fish you cooked 3 days ago is still in the bin, which I should add is open plan to the bedroom its pretty rank, and staying only a short amount of time we had to buy toilet roll, most of which we had to leave behind - I booked a hotel for a reason, and I didn't get the service of a hotel.
