68 reviewsAbsolutely bang on one star hotel. Rooms above a bar, NB no lift, but the manager carried our cases upstairs. Very friendly welcome, room was small but spotless. Amazing shower, best ever. Quiet. Comfortable double bed. Good aircon. About 50 yards from the water bus to Toulon centre, which costs €1 per day, and very handy for the marina at La Seyne. La Seyne is unpretentious, to put it mildly, with some basic but OK restaurants/ brasseries. It did feel a bit dark and edgy when we got further from the harbour at night. But all that was forgotten when we went to the fantastic Sunday market, mainly food, which we thought better than the one in Toulon. I felt we got very good value. NB the restaurant looks good but was shut in the evening. We had good grilled fish etc in the brasserie along the quay, or to the right up the side street the hotel is on.
