We had a very pleasant stay at Stella Plage. Nice quiet town, close to a lot of things to visit. The camping spot was spacious and nice walking distance from the facilities. Breakfast could be ordered at the camping so that was perfect. 10/10 would come again. 

Very pleasant stay

Had a nice relaxing quirt stay at La Foret in my camper van. I would recommend others to visit.  Nice and clean park with friendly staff and residents. Fresh bread can be ordered at the reception to be collected in the morning. 

Lovely stray in France.

Staff were friendly and very patient with my broken French! There was a nice family atmosphere on site, we always felt safe. Deliveries from the bakery were a nice touch. All the facilities were very clean. The shower block is very dated but it has a good family cubicle with a mini bath for babies/toddlers, sink and shower which is all spotless. The only disadvantages were that, for some reason, they put those of us in tents and therefore with the least insulation from the noise of the road, right by the road, while the double glazed chalets are in the middle of the site! Also, although the pitch was a good size, it was VERY anty! We only brought dried foods with us (pasta, couscous etc) and have no fridge so bought food to eat immediately so we really didn't have anything to attract them! Overall, I would return to the site if I was staying in one of the chalets, but I'm not sure I'd go back in a tent.

Pleasant site

Lovely quiet site, good location, nice beaches near by only a short drive to supermarket, lovely staff very friendly , would have given 5 stars but I think shower facilities let it down slightly only one shower open for all to use ,

Lovely site

More of a holiday home site but the camping pitches were a decent size, with more than enough room. Despite being close to the very noisy and busy road, the campsite was very clean, tidy.Bathroom facilities were always clean.The shower room was very hot and the water was sometimes a little too warm to stand under.Beaches were a about 10 min drive away. All in all, it was a pleasant enough stay.

Really Enjoyable stay

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September. The reception staff were very welcoming as were the people staying in the chalets. It's a friendly place to stay.You can order bread at reception for the next day which we made use of.

2 night stay

Stayed in  a mobile home for three nights over Easter. The site is relatively easy to find from Calais taking around and hour. We checked in OK with a young lady with good English who gave us some info and the code for the gate. We seemed to be the only English car on site which was OK with us.
The mobile home was quite new and very clean. We opted to clean this on leaving rather than pay the site 80 Euros for this. Be aware that there is no kettle in the mobile home so bring your own and some mugs too. 
There is no shop on site but there is a large Intermarche a 6-7 min drive away. Bread can be ordered at reception for the following morning.
There isn't really much for the kids on the site but this was no big deal for us.
The site is around 15-20 minute walk to the beach which is a bit far if carrying loaded bags. Alternatively, a 6-7 minute drive with loads of parking at the beach. There is a few shops but not much else in Stella Plage apart from the lovely beach. We did not find nearby Merlimont much different. 
You can walk along the beach to Le Touquet. This will take around 30-45 mins and feels around 3 miles or so but nice on a sunny day. Taxi back around 23 euros. 
Overall, this is a clean, quiet and functional place to stop over for a few days and the staff are nice and helpful.

Small quiet pleasant campsite

I am afraid this place was a big disappointment. It is a bit tatty. As far as I could see there are only 3 WCs, ancient and not particularly clean. Often no loo paper. No hot tap for washing your hands. Showers just awful and only cold water. We were given a pitch that was right beside a noisy road. We asked for another but were  told that was all that was available. I felt a little unsafe as we saw many groups of young men rambling around  who looked liked refugees/would be immigrants. We will not be back.

Don't bother

This is a mobile home site with 5 camping pitches right next to main road. Facilities were dirty and unmaintained; empty soap dispensers; bins overflowing. Reception hardly ever open. The pitches are noisy and we were woken by heavy traffic very early everyday. We cut our holiday short
