We spent a wonderful night at this hotel. We booked the family room which was tremendous and interestingly decorated. The bathroom was huge and modern. Also spotlessly clean and very close to the old town. The breakfast was very good but could of had a bigger selection. I would certainly stay again. 

Quaint Hotel 

Christelle's professionalism and caring demeanour is particularly evident and, as the owner of Les 5, she has influenced us to consider the five senses. We had the family 'sense of smell' suite which had plenty of room for us and our 2 adult children.  

We appreciated the near new, spotless and luxurious nature of the B&B: the beds, pillows and towels are five star, along with a huge bathroom and two TVs. Christelle's passion and long standing commitment to the lovingly renovated winery is refreshing. Her generosity of spirit and attention to detail with the breakfasts made our mouths water and included a variety of homemade jams, very special breads and unique cheeses. 

Christelle's thoughtful guidance regarding dinner and suggested activities was incredibly helpful and we'll treasure the memory of our stay in Beaune for many years.


Luxurious and creatively designed B&B

Looks can be deceptive as the front of 'Le 5' proves. It was with some horror that we stood outside and rang the bell having made bookings online.

But inside it's another world. A tastefully converted and well located wine warehouse, Le 5 is now a charming and eccentric superior class B&B. We were welcomed by the owner, who speaks good English. The room was large and the wet area (you can hardly call it a bathroom) was magnificent. We were not at the front and there was no noise at all.

Breakfast was generous and we could have spent most of the morning chatting with our fellow guests at the large dining table. 

Parking if you are lucky is just over the road where there are about 6 bays. Otherwise there is another public car park about 150 metres down the road. Both are free.

A gem

Next to the machine IBIS is this 5 room B&B; Le 5. A very personal (almost private) smal, trendy and cosy hotel. When outside the building, you experience a busy road, Inside the main door, you imideately find a design home so different to most others in this district. Clean and nice large rooms. Good large bed. Traffic in the street was not a problem, might be challenging in hot summer days woth windows and door balcony door open.

Breakfast was a nice, good experience. Very good variation of breads, cheeses and marmelades. One large table to share with the other guests created some great information and experience sharing in the morning. This is just across the street from Beaune center. Free parking, free WiFi. We liked this B&B a lot!

A very nice experience

Good location - if you know where your going, only a couple of mins walk to the 'Hotel Dieu' (we got to see a bit more of Beaune than we bargained for due to my dodgy in built sat nav) - nice rooms - the one we stayed in was great, not perfect, but more than good enough - pleasant staff - the only thing that stopped a 5* review is value @€200+ .... well it's all about perspective !
