As one of the cheapest place to stay on the island, it was great. The room was cute and authentic. A friendly family business. We unfortunately didn't really camp there and can't tell much more about the place, but we're satisfied.

There were only 2 downsides. 
1. The breakfast, it's a bit too expensive (13€). 
2. You can hear the neighbours like there was no wall.

Good price

we stayed in camping side fot two nights. Hosts were very friendly and did everything for us to feel comfortable. Very nice kitchen and laundury room with washing mashine. There is a lot of activities at camping site - grill house, saunas, boats to ride, table tennis, small cafe. I highly recommend to order Aland breakfast (10 eur per person, summer 2016 prices) - this is a nice picnick basket with coffee, juice, sendwiches, yogurts, eggs and milk. We liked it very much!

lovely place to stay

We stayed at the Söderhagen camping for two nights as part of a 3-week Scandinavian road trip. Out of the six different campsites we visited, Söderhagen was hands-down the best. 

Right from the beginning Susanna made us feel welcome! A very warm and personal reception, including genuine interest in our trip and how we came to find their camping. She even came to take a photo of us for the Facebook page once we had our tent set up. 

The campsite is on the water/beach, very close to the Eckerö port (handy if you arrive via EckeröLinjen). There is plenty of room for everyone, with enough choices for shade/sun or other criteria. 

The "service-house" (toilets/showers/kitchen/etc.) was in excellent condition, with showers better than those we have at home. Hot water is not a problem at all! Good WiFi and a well-equipped kitchen, along with plenty of outlets for charging mobiles/laptops, etc. 

The camping is dog-friendly, with lots of nice trails to take an off-leash walk. 

The cafe/boutique on site has a limited, but good quality, range of food/drink (including homemade meals, not just sandwiches). Beer from Aland's famous Stallhagen microbrewery is also available. 

One very unique feature of Söderhagen is their attention to fitness/diet. The family has committed to a LCHF (low-carb/high-fat) diet and good exercise. This means that the food served in the cafe can be made in this way (no potatoes = no problem!), and their fitness room is available for guests to use as well -- including some workout advice if requested. Their set-up is better than many hotels we have stayed in. A fantastic bonus! 

To recap, we were warmly received, the facilities were excellent and the site itself is very nice. And for all this we paid just €10/night for our tent.... more than a bargain, this is a great deal.

Great location and facilities, super owners and excellent value!

We didn't camp but stayed in thes cabins, which are nice and clean and have lights/electricity sockets and a place to hang clothes. It is a beautiful, tranqil location with great scenery.
The staff are friendly and even gave us a lift when we left. 
There is no public transport to Soderhagen, we got dropped off by the nearest bus a 7km walk away. 
There is a shop selling adequate supplies and a little beach nearby if you want to hire kayaks or use the row boats. Overall I highly recommend - but it is a lot more convenient with a car.

Nice place

We stayed here one night on our bike tour of four people. We had a great time, the rooms were nice, there are rowing boats to lend, and the owner of the place was very welcoming and fair. Degersand beach is only 2km further, a beautiful place to visit. 

Great stay

We stayed here for one night in a cabin. The cabin was clean and bed was good but overall very simple. Not located right by the beach like we thought. Sauna was nice and guests can also rent boats for free. Restaurant is very good and made our stay better.
