Had a wonderful 10days here food was excellent staff very helpful accommodation second to none would definitely go back we went in November and the weather was perfect the whole site was spotlessly clean all the staff made us feel very very welcome they also had a number of shops on site selling souvenirs so if you didn't have to leave the site if you didn't want to

Fantastic hotel. Food was good as we're the spa facilities.  We weren't pestered as I had been at other resorts 
We were advised if we wanted trips who to contact by locals at the hotel but two of my party chose not to the 3rd was out to go on trips and chose to use local shop staff to take her to Luxor on her own Which I have to day we did try and advised her against But she was adamant to go with them She's then written a bad review about some of the staff at the hotel saying they've pestered for trips and other things but when you smoke hashish you're bot in full control of what you're doing None of the was supplied by staff in the hotel in fact they advised against it as it's not always pure plus stronger than anything we can get. 

I can't fault any of the staff at this hotel either in reception. Restaurant or spa or hairdressing side if things  a good 20n0ut of 10 to them all 

Sunrise hotel 

Very kind and helpful staff and people generally, clear beach and sea. Rooms were cleaned daily and perfect
We came out of season, when in hotel were few people and therefore we have excelent service, quiet and also "private" beach.
Resort has big potential :)

For first time I been in hotel alone,  for first day I thought that it will be boring for me in hotel in Marsa alm and it was also first time for me in Marsa alm but really it was amazing time really o I enjoy it, it's not a huge hotel and that was great because I can feel that I'm with my family here if I didn't go to take my breakfast they bring it too my room I was surprised from this action but they are too polite people there and all stuff was friendly and always smile I was say thanks for all stuff for reception and barman and housekeeping and animation all my days with you was amazing and I made there diving and I went to city with by bicycle and for long time I didn't drive it. WiFi was better than I thought the most of my time I spend it with animation team chetos and rita,  I will miss you guys and we will meet soon again

I enjoy it

The hotel is not bad for staying, the room is good on the basic level and the view is beautiful, but the room service didn't pay us any visits through our 4 days, stay the hotel does not have much to do, the beach is not useable for swimming, the pool is not bad but it's water is not clear, yes the hotel does have a discotheque but it doesn't work.

The food was not good at all, the same cuisine everyday for the three meals, not always freshly cooked, not always well cooked.

The staff is not helpful aside from the hotel manager who was really friendly and helpful, but the rest were not, drinking water might be a problem there, you only would drink bottled water which was not always available.

So I would not say avoid it or don't go but I would not recommend it either.
