The ship is very nice, the room was pretty confortable, the service and attention was exceptional and the food diverse and delicious. In general Is a very good ship that I would recommend a lot. We also got a free upgrade to a suite. The only part I would have liked to know before booking was the sightseeing was not included in the itinerary, so it must be paid on board. I would have liked that it was mentioned in the same itinerary and the extra cost per person per day.

The negatives review are true!  My travel agent booked 5 nights here.  It was so bad that I had them rebook a different hotel. This is definitely not a 4-star hotel!  And I lowered my standards going in thinking it would be more of a 3-star place, but it’s not even that!  It’s just a very depressing place.  The bedding was just a sheet with a blanket on top.  They couldn’t provide a heater (it’s cold in January!), no tea kettle for hot water, no complimentary tea/coffee in the room, and no toiletries!  What kind of 4-star property are you?  I went downstairs to ask for hot water and they charged me $20  Egyptian Pounds, all other hotels and cafes throughout the country has been free!  WiFi is only good in the lobby and you can’t pay to have it in the room.  There is no carpeting at all so you here all the echoes when people go through the security entrance/check (beep beep beep and clank clank clank) all night long.  And the breakfast was the worst part, it looked like leftovers from the day before.  I was afraid that I’d get sick eating it.

Not a 4-star hotel!  Don’t stay here!

This place is the most DISGUSTING hotel I ever stayed and believe me, I’m not very picky since I used to backpack in Asia and stayed in veeeery cheap hostels but this place is GROSS and NOT HYGIENIC AT ALL!
I was part of a tour and the other people were disgusted and angry for staying at this place, we tried to arrange with the tour company to move us to a better place for the value that we paid but they didn’t care! 

The place was full of hairs, the room looked like they cleaned it 5 months ago and the blankets and pillows were suuuuper stinky, the shower was the worst part too, and they didn’t even offer toiletries when you are paying for a “4 stars “ 
So be prepared and lower your standards!

And breakfast was DEPRESSING! Please look my pictures ( the one with the bathing isn’t very clear but believe me when I tell you to NOT STAY HERE not even if it were free! 

I’ll give them a -10 stars 

great view of the nile from the balcony,  hotel seemed very quiet when we stayed even though there were 2 tour groups staying there. 

didnt eat here, I ventured along the street to KFC against the advice of the tour guide.  The tour guide said it was dangerous. Its not. He must be on commission from the hotel.  Most friendly people ever on the streets surrounding the hotel

Stayed here for one night. Simply put; the balcony view is this hotels only redeeming factor.

The room; bathroom fell apart (2 different caps came off the shower) and was moldy. Airco made noise like an airplane taking off, but gave nothing but slightly less warm air.

Breakfast; lackluster pre-packed breakfast, consisting for the main part of butter. I can understand that you don’t open a buffet for 10 guests by end of May, but this was really uninspired for a hotel that claims to be 4 star.

I’d give this one a miss.

Run down place

We stayed for one night and were delighted, lovely room and balcony, comfortable bed, amazing view of the Nile. Pool fantastic after a hot day walking around, lovely restaurant called the Lantern in the small road opposite. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful . Good breakfast, perfect for one night or for visits to Luxor. Highly recommend.

Perfect Overnight Stay

Stayed one night. Room average at best. Restaurant was weird, no other guests we
Hen we first arrived, staff seemed surprised to see us. Staff friendly but a bit inept, our starters arrived separately.. food very average.
Only good thing was the grounds which back onto the Nile,beautiful!.
The view from the rms at the back must be spectacular but despite the hotel being almost empty they put us in a rm facing the street.
We were put here for the overnight trip to the valley of the kings, wouldn’t recommend it otherwise

Nile view. Not much else

Stayed here half-board one night only and for the cost it was pretty much ok. The rooms are tired and basic but the balcony views over the Nile are crucial. I forgave the Hotel many sins just on the strength of that. Manned security barriers on the front approach to the Hotel are reassuring. Seems like a lot of people stay here overnight whilst seeing the sites in Luxor and as such theres a definite Crewe Train station feel about the place. The Breakfast is very good if you can manage to find where they hide the milk. :)

Mid price~ Mid range Ok for one night.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in! There is no Wi-Fi, just at the reception, when we arrived there was no shampoo much less conditioner in the toilets! In the pool bathroom there was no toilet paper or paper for dry hands. We checked out and asked if we could wait for our train at the reception and said yes, I touched on the couch and came a gentleman saying that I could not sleep. I'm never coming back! I do not recommend
