Farida Apartments

Two big bedrooms each with a balcony and air conditioning. Bedrooms and the large living room also have ceiling fans. Kitchen and bathroom also a good size. Kitchen has oven / hob, fridge, washing machine (drying lines on the balcony) and reasonable range of cooking equipment. Only 10 minutes walk from the ferry over to Aswan, to get to the monuments on the west bank just walk out onto the main road and a taxi driver (or two) will approach you. Plenty of shops around for food and water, the local people are friendly and welcoming. We had no concerns walking around whatever the time of day (this was the same elsewhere in Egypt). Host welcomed us on arrival, then provided contact details and left us to our devices, making sure we knew he was there for any problems, not that there were any.
