Cintya and her mom, Guadalupe, were very welcoming! Our flight was delayed and I was so pleased to see a cab driver with a sign bearing my name at the airport. They also arranged transportation for us to visit some sites and for our return trip to the airport. Our dinners and breakfasts were delicious! Dinner options included Ecuadoran and Mexican food as well as some delicious salads. Breakfast included fruit juice, coffee, tea or hot chocolate, bread and eggs. We requested 2 gluten-free breakfasts. That just meant the bread was left off of our plates. My daughter was a bit hungry, but I was satisfied. The bedrooms and grounds are beautiful and a great respite from the noise of the city. We swam in the pool and warmed up in the hot tub one evening. The pools are filled with spring water. They are drained and cleaned once a week. Our only disappointment was that there were no horses available for us. Guadalupe's warm smile and loving energy almost made us forget about that.
