Wanderlust Caribbean - Adventure Travel Boutique Hotel

A great stay!! From the conversations to coordinate activities before we arrived all the way until they sent us off with coconut juice picked from the tree in front of us, the hospitality and service was excellent. They went through hoops trying to accommodate my picky eating habits, more than I've seen anywhere. They kept us busy, but that was because I wanted to try and fit in so many adventures/activities. They coordinated everything (transportation, food, activities, laundry, etc) so it was seamless and effortless for us. It was a very special touch that the wife made us two homemade Puerto Rican meals for two dinners for us. The guide they employ, BamBam, was pleasurable to spend time with and very accommodating and thoughtful. They arranged the following activities for us: scuba diving, snorkeling, Boiling Lake hike, local line fishing, canyoning, Victoria Falls, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, transportation to all activities & our next location. They took us to a grocery store to buy food to cook at the next place we would be staying. Many of the activities we did were on the south side of the island and the resort is on the north side, so there was a 2+ hour drive each way, which was an unavoidable inconvenience. After the first night, we noticed the A/C unit wasn't cooling as much as it should and they allowed us to sleep in another unit. They tried to get the A/C repaired but were unsuccessful before we left. They allowed us to sleep in the other unit as we chose since we were the only ones staying at the facility at the time. We stayed in the penthouse - the view was spectacular, very breezy, very roomy, huge porch. Lots of space in the unit, lots of hooks to hang things to dry, comfy bed, access to great laundry service. If you are wanting to see and experience the island, I highly recommend utilizing them!! I plan to go back to pick up what we couldn't fit in this first time.
