The owners of this B&B changed 2 years ago so of course some things changed and you should not expect every detail of previous recommendations. 

But: Our stay in Tohøjgaard for two nights in May 2016 was great and energyzing!

The location is very quiet with view to the sea over a little bit grassland.
The rooms are cozy, breakfast (and dinner) is in the big kitchen or you can take it outside. There is a "lounge"/living room for all guests together also.
The dinner and breakfast were very good. Don't expect a "standard" breakfast but we got everything we needed: Tea, coffee, bread, rolls, cheese, fruits, cereals, joghurt, nuts, ... and flowers and nettles - picked up by caretaker Jeorge early in the morning. Great: 100% biological and energyzing!

A great location to stay in a wonderful area of island Moen - THAT's Danmark.
Very friendly host, very nice and big rooms Panorama/Magnolia - the whole family slept well. 
We didn't use it, but there were a kitchen in bottom floor as well as a living room - ideal for a longer stay - what a shame - we only stayed there for one night...

Wonderful hospitality and lovely food in a beautiful country setting with plenty of excursions on offer in the charming and tranquil island of Mon.  The combination of Panorama and Magnolia worked very well with our two adult daughters in one room and us in the other.  There is a downstairs bathroom that is shared between the two rooms (and not other guests) with a separate lounge room and conservatory attached.  Although these living areas were shared with guests in other rooms, there were other day rooms in the property and it felt as if we had our own apartment.  Christine made an effort to show us traditional Danish food, and catered for our mix of omnivores/vegetarians seamlessly.  Highly recommended!

Went with my girlfriend during Christmas vacation 2015. The B&B is at lovely Møn with a great sea view. We lived in the Shangri-La room, which is quaint and with a look to the Baltic across the slightly uncharming courtyard. 

We had dinner when we arrived. The food was ok, but I would have liked a more seasonal meal like a stew or something with cabbage. Instead it was quite summery with salad. The dining room, however, is really nice. This is also where the more than adequate breakfast is served. 

I didn't see the owners much, and I would have liked a clearer sign saying where to knock the door on arrival, but there weren't any serious problems of any kind. 

All in all I can only recommend Tohøjgaard and its new owners. Despite some beauty spots I would not mind going there again.

Lovely B&B

This is a fabulous location.....wild hares gambolling across the fields, sea views - on the attractive Danish island of Moen......BUT

Our room ('Frida Kahlo'....decorated as a bit of a shrine to the artist!) was

1. Hardly big enough to swing a cat
2. You had to pad up-down stairs to get to a shared toilet in the course of which
3. You are likely to encounter guests coming/going from the kitchen
4. The breakfast room is unpleasantly cramped....if you suffer claustrophobia....forget it - although to be fair on a nice day you can take breakfast out on the pleasant pation...looking to sea

We paid 20 crowns (about £17) for a very mediocre eve meal...once and once only!

A mixed bag altogether....VERY surprised to see it as a TripAdvisor 'Travellers' Choice'
