Been here for a weekend to visit friends. The place was very clean and the breakfast is good (not great). The staff are very nice and accomodating. They have a bar/restaurant and prices and selection are very good.

Weekend in Zlin

Very little to add to the previous positive reviews.

We needed a ground floor room because there’s no lift, thus it had to be a ‘standard’ rather ‘superior’ room.  Well, there was nothing second rate about our accommodation! Smart, spacious, with modern bathroom fittings.

The restaurant is more than OK and considering that quite a lot of Czech cuisine lacks subtlety, it really stands out.  Breakfasts are (for British guests!) really good, with what amounts to a ‘full English’ available.  Almost unknown in continental Europe.

At just a little more than £200 for 4 nights incl breakfast, its a bargain.  Don’t even think of staying in town.

Excellent !

I tried the best Mexican Aztec soup in Europe and I’m from Mexico so is good, is very similar to my country and is delicious.The Colombian food is also very good and tasty.
The place is very cozy, you can go with your friends or family, the cooker is vey friendly and the service is one of the best in the region. Is one of the best restaurant I’ve tried In the region. 

Best food in Zlin 

Our stay was excellent! The room was large enough and had a beautiful view over the hills. The pezion is located on a hill in Zlin so it takes around 45 min walking to get to the center or one could easily take a taxi. The service was excellent in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and breakfast had a variety of choices. The area were is located is full of houses with nice little gardens which makes it nice for   Walkings. Kaufland is 8-10 min walk. We came to Zlin for IVF. The clinic is about 1 hour distance walking (we made an experiment on the first day) but by taxi it took us about 10 min. There are also buses that can take you from the bottom of the hill to the center but none that goes near the clinic so it is better to go by taxi.

I would recommend this penzion for people who want to relax.

Great place to stay in Zlin

This hotel was a great discovery, we stayed in two different superior rooms and the experience was outstanding.  The second room -14- even had a piano and large terrace wich I recommend.  The "ä la carte" included breakfast was definitely a plus and the views of the valley from the hotel were a good addition.  The only con could be it is not exactly walking distance to the center of the town but a 100Kc taxi sort the situation out.  Friendly staff and good experience, hope to have the chance to come back.  Tip for booking:  call the hotel and they could give you a better price than the usual reservation websites.

Cozy and nice place to stay in Zlin

I would like to thank Martin and his wonderful family for being great hosts. The rooms are modern and clean. We were fortunate to have a balcony as well. The restaurant at Pension Uno was EXCELLENT! You must try their famous green onion soup! We were very impressed!
