I booked the hotel for 2 nights while I was going to hike through the area. I arrived very late on a Friday evening and the lady at the reception was expecting me. The check in was done in no time and I got the fully explanation on how the hotel works. As it is a rather small hotel and it seems to be targeting winter tourists, the number of people around was very limited. So I knew where to get my breakfast in the next door restaurant and I got the explanation on how to get in and out of the hotel when the reception was closed. 
The rooms are very large, potentially because ski tourists bring a lot of equipment along, but could do with some refurbishing. Especially the bathroom looked a bit old. 
Breakfast was very good for Czech standards with everything you would find in the Czech countryside. 
The hotel is well located in case you want to go hiking in this beautiful part of the Czech Republic. There is a public parking lot across the street and the railway station is a 20 minute walk away.

Nice hotel, friendly reception

The room was clean and the staff that worked there are very nice. 

There is a public car park oppersit the hotel. The hotel is not to far from the main square. 

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. 

Nice hotel

Clean average hotel in a small Czech town. Breakfast was good, we stayed for two nights and nobody came to make up the bed and empty the bin at least. The staff was talking about their job and duties in front of customers. Not professional at all. Anyway, overall satisfied.

Nice clean hotel in a small town

I checked in on a Saturday - well, there was no msg in English for me, no reception and apparently no one ELSE in the hotel to help the guests in any way, that should have been a warning sign - finally a non English speaker waiter from the joining restaurant gave me the key; I tried to ask whether they were aware of my late (4pm) check out on Sunday but I didn't get thru it so I thought it sorted. Everything was fine until I was about to leave the hotel and I COULDN'T. They locked me up! There was not even a housekeeper or GUESTS in that place. My taxi driver waited outside to take me to the airport - I got into panic it felt like a horror movie trapped inside of a building w nobody there - then tried find the emergency exit when my foot turned inside out on a not so visible step in a dark corridor on my way down. (Later found out I suffered a foot fracture). FIRE EXIT WAS CLOSED. Finally a "lady" brought the keys after several people tried to help me from outside inc the my driver. She was yelling something w zero English but apparently blamed me for "not knowing" that my ROOM KEY opens the FRONT DOOR of the hotel. Now I've been in LOTS of hotels in my life and never heard anything like to this. And if so, how I was supposed to know? Did they left me a message in English on the reception regarding how to exit? Could the ad hoc check in agent (the waiter) explain this to me? NO. It's not just the physical but the psychological effect is still something I won't forget. Worst nightmare, really.

Just off the main square, and 50 yards from the tourist office, this old hotel has had a makeover. We found helpful polite service, good food in the restaurant, nicely done up rooms, and thought it was very good value
