Penzion Globus

As we had booked online, we were a little disappointed by the out-of-the-way location of our penzion, up on the hill-side above the town, but soon forgot about this after encountering the stunning beauty of the historic Old Town of Cezky Krumlov. The penzion is a brisk ten-minute trot down-hill, directly into the main cobbled street of the Old Town, but definitely a little longer and more stressful on the return climb... We capitulated and used our rental thereafter as public parking is readily available around the center (at a nominal price). Lucie was a charming and welcoming hostess, and made every effort to provide us with all the necessities for our pleasant stay in her two-story villa, offering six well appointed and comfortable apartments for rent, with a generous and wide selection of cereals, bread choices, salads, cheeses and cold cuts for breakfast. Parking is available on the property, which is a short distance from a regional shopping center boasting a large supermarket and a varied selection of other consumer shops. Really a very convenient location, all things being equal, with great hosts, comfortable accommodations and good food. Great value!
