A nice, clean, warm, renovated, traditional house in the centre of the unique village of Askas in mountain Troodos! Most of the houses send your imagination in another era of the island as they are abandoned or ruined..to reach the house you have to walk through the narrow allays of the village..is not accessible to a car.. The view is amazing as you can see a big part of the rest village and mountains.. The house is clean with heating system and a fireplace you can use if you wish for an extra cost but definitely worths it if you are there during the winter..it's all in one place and because there are other rooms beside you have to talk and move quietly..but that's what you are looking for with such a staying.. Far away from any city noise light etc.. I suggest you to bring your own products for preparing your meals with kitchen facilities or taste the local taverns.. There's only tv and Wi-Fi and hot water all the time.. The owner Mrs Panayiota is great, very genuine and hospitable as welcomes you with a bottle of local wine and smile! I am not recommend it for couples with young children except if you like to have quality time with them and not for long staying as we are used in another kind of life and city routine.. But I definitely recommend it for full relax and detoxination! I hope the last residents of the village hold on and the state help such efforts..!
