After much trawling of various sites my husband and I decided that this would be an ideal place to stay in Hvar when we visited in June this year.  I must confess that I wonder if we had made the right decision as the taxi drive which took us from the harbour to the apartment seemed to go on and on.  However once we arrived and we found our bearings my initial concern was overcome.   That said it is not the nearest of locations to the main hub of Hvar but that is no bad thing and my husband and I enjoyed our normally twice daily walks to and from the centre.

As there are so few reviews on TA I was worried what we might find but my concerns were again groundless.  Turning to our apartment this was on the ground floor and was faultless.  This is a one bedroom apartment with a spacious terrace, which was a bonus.  The kitchen was well equipped and a delighful bedroom.   The safe which was provided was most welcome.   

As other reviews say Margarita and her husband were very friendly hosts and just the way you would want your hosts to be - unobtrusive but helpful (Margarita pointeds me in the right direction when I had to find somewhere to go for medical treatment with a nasty insect bite and a was also reassuring about it).  Her husband also took us to the harbour the day we were leaving.  

All in all a great stay in every respect and I can most definitely recommend.

PS If you are looking for the hairdryer I eventually found it in the basket of toilet rolls in the bathroom!

Just what we were looking for value for money, beautiful apartment, excellent host

We spent 2 nights here when travelling around Croatia and absolutely loved it. Margita and her husband were very friendly hosts and picked us up and dropped us off in the old town for our ferries to and from Hvar. We had a ground floor room which was spacious, bright, clean and modern. There was a small terrace outside where we could sit. The apartment is well equipped and even has a hob, kettle and microwave. 
Margita was very helpful when we arrived and gave us useful information about Hvar. A short walk away down some steps are lovely areas to swim and two popular beach bars (Falko and Hula Hula). Hvar old town is around a 20 minute walk either via the coast or by road. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away.
We had an excellent time and would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous apartment in Hvar

We rented a two-bedroom/two-bath top floor unit which is large enough for two couples or a family of four or five (there is a sofa-bed in the living room). The unit looks even better than the pictures, clean and modern, and the view is stunning. The owner Margita is a super host, very friendly and gave me lots of information before arrival and during our stay. Her husband picked us up and took us back to the city center, that was very sweet of them. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the city center and close to beaches down below. We stayed on the third floor with no elevator but they helped us with luggage. Hvar town is a quaint little island, I highly recommend staying there and I can't wait to go back!

Spacious apartment with amazing views

We stayed here in April. The apartment is lovely with the best view you could ask for. The owner was so lovely and helpful. The apartment was clean, well kept and had everything you'd need for your stay. Would absolutely stay here again.
It's about a 20 minute walk from hvar town if you follow the sea front path.

Couldn't have asked for more

Stayed here for 2 nights in August with a friend and loved it. The apartment was perfect, spotless and the view from the balcony was glorious. The owner was friendly and the price was extremely reasonable. Only a short walk to the centre of Hvar. Can't wait to return to Croatia and will definitely stay here again!
