We greatly enjoyed our stay at JacoBay Towers, unit 4302. We rented through Costa Rica Dreamakers. Our unit was sparkling clean and had tons of extra towels, pillows and bed linens. The kitchen was well appointed. We really appreciated in washer dryer! When I read the wide variety of reviews it is clear that your experience with your unit varies greatly upon who you rent from. 

The pool is amazing and our balcony overlooked it. The pool is super clean and well maintained. The staff takes excellent care of the property overall. The pool is open from 7am to 10pm. This is not a party resort. There are residents and families. Quiet hours are enforced, which we greatly appreciated. 

We walked to local sodas for breakfast. The beach is a 5 min walk as well. A Zip lining adventure park is an 8 minute drive away! There is a lot to love here. I spent every morning listening to the birds on the balcony. Pure vida indeed!

Wonderful restful experience

We liked the amenities  . The condo was not very clean. No coffee mug, water boiler, and mixer was broken. Make sure you take your Pillow with you, they were really bad. The mattress were very old. Other than those it was nice with beautiful views. 

Jaco Bay Condominium

The Jaco Bay Resort Condominium complex is in a convenient location … about a 3 block walk to an excellent beach & 2 blocks to an excellent Supermarket.  There are a great variety of good restaurants up & down the main street within easy walking distance.  The Pool is huge & the pool & grounds well cared for.  The staff are friendly and accommodating.  A great choice for a beach vacation in Costa Rica.

Convenient, Spacious, Friendly Location

I love this place, the unit was very nice, huge bedrooms, nice equipped kitchen, dining and living areas.  Nice television sets with cable in living room and two of the bedrooms.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are amazing.
The complex is very well located, making the whole area of Jaco accesible, shops, restaurants and within walking distance to the beach!
Very secure as well, you must go thru a gated security in order to access the complex.
Will definitely go back.

Nice upscaleprivate place

We stayed at this resort for 5 days of a 2 week trip to Costa Rica. The check in process was a little odd for us. The security building is where you initially do the pre-check in, (It was helpful that we sent the resort our guest information in advance, i.e., copies of i.d.'s, passports, etc... prior to arrival). The staff were very helpful and responsive to all our needs. The units are very clean and  extremely large. The grounds are very well maintained and they have a large pool. We can't say enough good things about the staff; the main tv in the the living room started acting up and the staff responded immediately and just replaced it... now that's nice service! The resort is a great location for exploring the Pacific side of the country. The resort is walking distance to the town of Jaco which has restaurants, clubs, tour companies, casino, etc... The buildings are well constructed: during our stay had a +6 earthquake in the middle of the night and the building didn't sustain any damage. Overall I highly recommend this resort when exploring the western side of Costa Rica.

Excellent Value & Location

Really enjoyed this condo! Very spacious, huge balcony (although it faced the front entry and street). Rented through Dream Makers and they were a bit unreliable about meeting us there to check in. The wristbands are the worst idea ever, advertising your tourist status for the duration of your stay as well as signaling people what location you’re staying at. I covered mine with cheap beaded bracelets at first but then just removed it and kept it in my pocket or purse whenever we left. Our condo was very clean, kitchen had everything we could want. We couldn’t figure out the dishwasher, but not a big deal. Master bath was very dark and window faced the entry gate, shower wasn’t well contained and not adjustable, but also not a big deal. We had a rental car but walked to downtown frequently and got great Thai food very close by. Jacob’s beach is really lousy compared to many of the other beaches we’ve enjoyed in CR, but we found amazing beaches a short drive away in either direction. Overall we enjoyed this condo a lot, the price was great for the amount of space and would stay here again.

Great stay in great location!

Great location, such a short walk from the main strip and the beach. The pool here was so fun and relaxing. HOWEVER- be warned- the pool staff is so uptight. The condo we stayed in was nice. Great AC and kitchen. The condo staff are also very friendly. Seemed like most people there are either visiting or retired but not originally from the area. I doubt any locals live there. Would stay here again.

BEST POOL EVER

Some friends rented an AirBnB in Jacó Bay. Originally, I was concerned about the walk, but it was more convenient than I expected and the unit was great. Large and spacious with a fantastic view of Jacó and the ocean - definitely a good deal. The pool got great reviews and the security felt adequate. No issues with the elevators or other mechanical items with the building. Located very close to Chuck’s WoW surfboard rentals, a popular breakfast place, and local pizza. So, a good experience and recommended!

Much More Than Anticipated

Very nice place. Condo 1604 was clean with all the amenities. The condo is definitely set up for a family.  Three bedrooms one for adults (queen size bed) and two rooms for kids (2 single beds each). Not ideal for three adults but acceptable. Access was difficult due to construction on the main entrance and there was no sign to indicated the reception office. Reception was quick and helpful. I speak Spanish, English only speakers may have difficulties. The pool was beautiful and the grounds well kept and extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. No towels for the kitchen, but otherwise there were plenty for the bathrooms and the pool, Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was cordial and helpful. After using the microwave once it stopped working. We informed the staff but since the condos are owned privately, the owner would have to fix or replace. We didn't miss it. Laundry facilities were convenient and extremely useful.
