Peninsula Hotel - Zhaoqing

Room The hotel looks new and the room is very spacious and clean. The hotel locked the fridge and I had to call them to unlock it as I wanted to store my drinks. However, I soon found out the fridge was not working properly. Bathroom The bathroom is clean with all the amenities that a traveller would require. The toilet bowl has sophisticated bidet features like those found in Japan - you can conveniently wash yourself after doing your business. Breakfast Breakfast is edible though it was mostly Chinese fare (steamed buns, porridge and vegetables etc). After my previous hotel encounter, I was happy coffee is provided during breakfast at this hotel. Overall I am happy with this hotel since I am on a group tour so I do not have to worry about ground transportation. It is considered a reasonably good hotel if you are a packaged tour and need a place to rest for the night.
