Jia Relax Hotel Shenzhen

This hotel is located directly across from Huaqiangbei electronics street, and on the same road as majority of main attractions/shopping centres in downtown Shenzhen. majority of people probably won't realise, but this hotel is actually closer to the Science Museum metro stop than it is to Huaqiang Road. The hotel is very confusing initially, it shares the same building with another hotel, and is in the same block as a number of food shops and retail outlets, it's incredibly easy to completely miss the entrance to the hotel. The lobby is on the 3rd (THIRD) floor, you must remember this if you've booked a room in this hotel otherwise you're going to be one bewildered traveler on the streets of Futian. The staff are ok, one of them speaks English fairly well, even if she's not too enthused. Again, like another Shezhen hotel, Jia requires a deposit that is actually bigger than you would've paid for the room in the first place which I find incredibly weird. I booked the cheapest room available which was a bit of a stupid thing to do, the room was an okay size for the price, but it didn't have any windows unfortunately. There's also free WiFi throughout the hotel. It can get quite noisy at night with a lot of the Chinese guests talking loudly and smoking throughout the hallways. Awesome location, reasonable room, meh service. A-okay.
