Very nice place with welcoming hostess:  convenient to everything; large and comfortable bedroom; good breakfasts.  We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Jolanta was a delightful hostess!. The B&B was beautifully designed, as if we were in France! We were 3 sisters sharing the Papineau room which was very clean, comfy and roomy.  Nice breakfast and cozy eating area, allowing the chance to meet other guests

We (family of 4) had such a wonderful stay here! The room was super spacious and we loved having the balcony with view out over the old town. Jolanta was extremely helpful and provided the most wonderful breakfast - and the best Brie EVER!

Wonderful accommodation in the heart of the Old Town

Breakfast was perfect.  Fresh eggs, pastry, toast.  Centrally located to everything we wanted to see.

Castel d' Amerique Francaise was a delightful hotel. We had Room Frontenac, on the third floor which was quite a challenge to get to, considering all those stairs, but we got used to it and it wasn't such a big concern. The hostess Jolanta was very friendly, informative and accommodating. The room was very spacious and clean with beautiful period furniture. The bed was large, mattress soft, pillows perfect and so was everything else. There were plenty of toiletries and soft towels. The lighting was plentiful and fantastic, unlike other hotels. The breakfast room was a bit crowded, but breakfast was delightful. Fresh eggs, juice, coffee and tea, freshly baked bread and cakes, toast making, nuts and cereals and other yummy eats. There was also a balcony with lovely views on our floor. The hotel is close to everything so all you need to do is walk everywhere, because everything is so close. There is parking space available nearby, for a fee, for those who need it, but we did not have a car. There are countless reastaurants, bars, tourist and other shops within a short walking distance. We were thrilled with our stay.

Castel d'Amerique Francaise is a treat.  Every morning the breakfast was delicious with freshly made sweet bread.  The rooms and common areas are spotless.  The assistance with helping to plan your day or find a quiet restaurant for dinner was super.  We had room Cartier which over looks the old town with a private deck.  A special get away for several nights. 

Top Notch B&B

Quiet,  private,  great view from my 3rd floor balcony.  Breakfast was great. Hostess was pleasant and welcoming.

We loved everything about our stay.  Castel d'Amerique was without a doubt rhe best bed and breakfast we have stayed at.  Rooms were huge, common areas were wonderfully decorated, and the breakfast enjoyable.  No elevator but we did not mind.  Our hostess Jolanta was very accommodating.  We are in our 70's and from this location walked all around old Quebec City and to our cruise ship.

This was our first trip to Quebec City, and our stay could not have been better.  The hostess is so sweet, energetic, and caring.  The building is a fantastic blend of antiques and original artwork.  The rooms are spacious, and everything was is great working order.  We loved the cute little balcony with great views.  We felt right at home.  The location is right in middle of everything - just a few minutes walk to the Le Château Frontenac, the Citadel, etc., but yet the street itself is very quiet.  We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Place to Stay

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this bed and breakfast. The rooms were very large and remarkably decorated unlike the coldness of many hotel rooms. The breakfast was exceptional including a homemade coffee cake every morning. It is steps away from downtown Old Quebec.
