We arrived late & departed early. Room was on main floor with king bed. No area to lounge inside but deck outside was covered. Nice & close to everything which was convenient. Bathroom on same level was private & no use of the kitchen due to  COVID. Not really recommended for a romantic evening, more geared to families. 

Great for the night

The house is very cute and well located (everything can be reached from there by feet), the bed is good so we slept well, everything was clean, the kitchen is beautiful and can be used anytime, the breakfast (included if you book directly on their website) was delicious and hosts very nice. Thank you to Lilas and her family for having us.

Very nice place

Fairly well located in a village that has nothing to offer except boat rides to see, or if you please, molest, perfectly nice whales . So you get a minute room no bathroom, that is next to the kitchen..
A hairy barefoot concierge for 140 DOLLARS , did I ever feel ripped off!
This is a kids hostel, worth C$40 in the rest of the world , only Canadians put up with this!
If you are over 25 years old don't put up with this, if you are lucky enough to be younger, 40 dollars max!

Ridiculous price for a hostel

We booked this one online, on trip advisor, while vaguely planning a camping trip to tadoussac and côte-nord. It is a long drive from Montreal so we figured we would get a bnb for the first night.
We left early in the morning, got a speeding ticket in Qcity and slowed down afterward, really enjoying the scenary anyways.. We arrived around dinner time and the host were eating dinner. They were not happy but we were apologetic and they gave us a key. We were informed at that point that it would be an extra 8 or 10$ for breakfast and only served at a certain time so we politely declined uncertain of our schedule. We set up in a cute little room. The restroom were separate, at the end on the hallway.
 Clean.Nothing fancy. Rustic charm.A bit pricy butwe did visit in the middle of high season.

For dinner, we walked over the main road and found a wonderful restaurant 5 minutes away called Chez Mathilde (see my restaurant review! A MUST if you visit Tadoussac) were we had maple wine, local micro-brew and a fantastic dinner with live jazz! The chef was also playing music in between meals..great ambiance. 
Back to the bnb, we were careful to not make noise as it seems everybody was asleep so we went to bed right away.very comfortable little room with a sink. Woke up early to the most fresh, crisp air! Took a shower and left to find a great camping spot at camping paradis marin which I also recommend!

Great location, cute bnb..breakfast not included

Stayed one night at this gite recently and had a nice experience. Our small room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Our hostess was very knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to explain and share many local sites to see and things to do. Even recommended a couple of restaurants (which we tried and liked). Breakfast was not included in the room price, but we elected to pay the extra $8 and were not disappointed! The breakfast was fresh, nutritious and there were many choices. 
One thing we did not realize was that there was a shared bathroom for all guests, but that was Ok in the end ..

Great location, lovely little place to stay

We stayed there for 2 night in late June 2015. The host was lovely. Depending on how you book the room, breakfast is an extra charge ($8 per person). The $8 was worth the breakfast cost. We had eggs, fruit, coffee, homemade bread, homemade jams and pudding. The host was a lovely lady and nice to deal with. The location is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 2 minute walk to the shops. There was however the issue of light coming through the windows very early in the morning (5am!). The curtains they have there do not block out enough light. They have a light cream coloured curtain, and it doesn't do enough to block out the light. So I had trouble sleeping in. There is also alot of floor creaking. The house is an older style house that has been renovated, and I expected the creaking of the floorboards. Overall it was a pleasant stay!
