Le Couvent B&B

I needed a break -  to escape from the city for a few days. A friend suggested LE COUVENT for its great location and its hospitality. They couldn't have been more right. Wonderful tranquility, while 5 minutes away was an enormous lake ( which I loved ) and a casino, if I wanted. The couple who ran the place, Pierre and Claudette, made me feel absolutely welcome, while never being obtrusive during my stay. The room was charming and comfortable, and after 2 days of self-indulgence I was able to go back to reality revitalized.And lastly, a wonderful breakfast. l would  definitely go back.

We found Le Couvent out of necessity with a horrible first night at a nearby place.  Le Couvent is clean and comfortable.  It is a good base for a weekend of skiing at Mont Tremblant or Mont Blanc.  The innkeepers are helpful and accommodating but not overbearing in any way.  We stayed in a room with a king size bed, which was quite comfortable.  There is free parking and fast wireless internet.  It met all our needs for a ski week.  The other nice feature of the property is that is located within walking distance to several restaurants, bars, and stores.  We will be staying here next time we are in the Tremblant area.

Me and my boyfriend stayed their for two nights while we were snowboarding in Tremblant this year. The room was very comfortable and the owners were very nice. We did find it very quite.. almost two quite. Me and my boyfriend are light sleepers, so when anyone woke and walked around one of the other 5 rooms it would wake us up. However we just put some white noise (the TV or the bathroom fan) and it was fine from there on. 

Its also less than a 10 min drive into Tremblant village, very convenient if you don't want to spend a fortune on the hotels in the village. 

I would definitely recommend it / come back here on our next trip to Tremblant.

Excellent B&B for Price

Comfortable and Cozy

The room was tiny, no door in the bathroom, just a shower curtain to separate from the room. Also a bit awkward as it feels like you're in someone's house, and you don't know that someone. The price was equivalent to the other hotels-motels in the area. When paying that much I don't want to feel I am intruding on someone's privacy, so next time I'd rather stay in a hotel or motel nearby.

Basic

The best thing we could say about this place is that the bed sheets were soft and the towels were clean.
The ad for this place states that it is a B & B. However, we were told we would have to pay $20 for breakfast and the owner blames the lack of info on Expedia.
The room was fully open concept...which included a washroom as part of the "open concept"...meaning no separate door for privacy when using the toilet.

The ad also stated the location was in Mont Tremblant village...incorrect. it was actually in an area about 3 kms from the ski area / village. 

Overall...the price was simply not worth the accommodation. We finally got to sleep after we cranked the volume on the TV to drown out the loud talking coming from the kitchen area (around 10:30 pm).
