Forks of the Credit Inn

This quaint historical Inn was exactly what we needed after a long drive . The Inn was suggested to us as we were headed to the area with our dog who was having surgery in Caledon. There are some chain hotels in Orangeville and Vaughn and Brampton but all are distance from the vet clinic and we were told didn’t accept pets. I easily booked our room online, and dealt with Bart who didn’t skip a beat letting me know breakfast was included, what each room looked like and what was available for our dates. I booked early as I saw that they have some summer Yoga retreat bookings and wanted to make sure we had a room. We arrived after 10pm and with the welcome email we found the front gate open and porch light on welcoming us to our room. The room was clean, comfy and quiet. Felt like we were home. The following morning we returned from the vet clinic to find Bart in the kitchen. He welcomed us and made us a delicious breakfast which we ate out on the patio in the beautiful sun. So laid back and friendly Bart and his wife were lovely to chat with and they encouraged us to stay as long as we liked and also gave us some great sight seeing suggestions. The best way I think I can describe this lovely B&B is to say it was as tho we had just stayed the night at a good friend or family members home. I would suggest it as a great alternative to the cookie cutter hotel experience. I would willingly stay again and would consider returning just to attend a yoga retreat.
