thanks to Mr. Leng our trip was amazing! we took the 3 day temple pass and he was our guide, he took us with his powerfull tuktuk to all of these beautiful places and to kulen mountain which was beautiful! Mr. Leng was so funny, kind and helpfull with everything we needed. Mr. Leng explained everything and allways showed us the local and cheap places to get the best food and souvenirs. on the 4th day we went to the floating village which was a great experience! 
the hostel was great! the food at the restaurant was tasty and not pricey, the pool is great and there is allways nice music at the bar.
we enjoyed alot!

Mr. Leng was our guide and tuktuk driver for the temples around Angkor Wat. We had great time with him! He knows so much about the history of the place and the Khmer empire. Other than that, the staff in the guesthouse were all very helpful and friendly.

Our stay at Garden Village! 

We enjoyed our stay here at garden village. We had a nice room with a proper bed and desk! We asked for an extra fan through the staff and was provided with one instantly! 

We booked a very good tour of the Angkor wat temple and the surroundings with Mr.Leng through garden village homestay! He provided us with top notch Guiding and a good tour for 1 day! The tour cost us 25 $ but it was definitely worth it!

Had the greatest experience here. The staff are amazing, the drinks in the bar are very well priced and the pool area and amenities are fantastic. The location is great too. Our highlight of the trip was our visit to Angkor Wat with Mr Leng, he is amazing!! So knowledgable and went above and beyond to teach us the history and culture of the area. If you visit this hostel you must request Mr Leng!

Amazing experience in Siem Reap!

When I first arrived in Siem Reap I stayed at another hotel, which I had booked via booking.com at £28pn. It was a great hotel but as a solo traveler it was a little pricey, given that I would be traveling for a few months so the budget was tight.
Once I was in Siem Reap I transferred to the Garden Village (upon a recommendation from a local tattooist, Benny, who I bumped into at the border crossing). 
There are two parts to the hotel - the dorms/ guesthouse and the boutique hotel. The dorms can be about $7 & private guesthouse about $12. I stayed in the boutique hotel rooms. Note, they are not quite boutique, but the rooms are better that the guesthouse. These cost me $15pn and well worth it as it was away from the bar and pool, which can be noisy until the early hours of the morning. I was initially in a room facing the bar and the water was not draining down the shower so I requested moving and the staff were very obliging and got another room ready for me. Very happy with the 2nd room. The shower worked well with hot water, it was a quieter, room size was excellent, AC worked well, no smells in the bathroom, good sized two single beds. There is free use of the pool, nicer little bar and the cost of food is reasonably priced so I had my breakfast at the hotel. The location is very central too, close to Pub Street, the river eating places so there is no need to take a tuk tuk.
One negative is that they do not have a safe in the room but if you put the do but disturb sign up then no one will come into the room to make up beds etc but you're valuables will be safer. 

Great value for money

I stayed in a private room and really liked it!
Comfortable mattress, great food, nice pool, great service and nice people.
I liked the location since it's closed to everything and you can walk to pub street.
I enjoyed eating the Vegetarian Food and my favorite was Noodles' Soup.
I'm glad I found this place and recommend it to anybody 

Great Experience In Siem Reap, Cambodia

This place needs a make over. Stop using Covid as an excuse! The dorms I stayed in ( with a martial arts package) are very dirty. Shower and toilet disgusting. Half of the lights with the beds were broken. No cleaning done. The beds were ok though. We had to ask for soap and toilet paper. One of the male staff just comes in when he wants and tell us not to lock the door...the pool is the best thing at this place but nothing around it is clean. To be fare, I didn't see the private rooms and didn't try the restaurant. My feeling was that they don't care about the people in the dorms...

Do not book the dorms!!

Garden Village is a home away from home, with a variety of rooms to stay, a huge menu or western and khmer cuisine to choose from. Best part of the day is happy hour by the pool ! Around that same time there is football/ volleyball activities. 
Very close to the temples and the main bustling pub Street! 

My favorite place in Cambodia, can't wait to go back and see everyone !

Best place to stay in Siem Reap

Garden village has much to offer. Many kind/sized rooms. The beautiful site have restaurant, cafe, bar, swimming pool & sports field. 
Stuff is very friendly, cleaning super good. 
The area is full of services, restaurants, bars, markets, hairdressers, massage....
Even located in the city center, Garden village is quiet. Room i had was in the back area building, even more quiet and with beautiful backyard. This was my second long stay.
