Pousada Encanto de Glaura

We were a group of 25 friends that stayed at the pousada during 3 days and 2 nights, which means we occupied all rooms and had the pousada for us. It was a wonderful experience, the pousada is very beautiful, gardens, rooms and common areas very tastefully decorated and with lots of nice areas to meet friends, relax, read a book, enjoy the wonderful garden, etc. The host Elenice and her family and crew are very pleasant and do everything to make the guests feel well and comfortable. They were very flexible, always ready to accommodate the group’s wishes and requests. The food is fantastic, the pousada offers a full pension (pensão completa): an excellent breakfast buffet with lots of tasty regional specialties, a lunch composed of at least two regional typical menus served as a buffet (one day it was feijoada and the other frango com quiabo), and of excellent quality, and finally a light dinner (one evening it was four different soups and the other pasta with two different kinds of sauces), all in all a great opportunity to taste the best of the kitchen of Minas Gerais. Evenings with some of our friends playing the piano located at the dining room, and one evening where we used their charming events space for a cheese and wine tasting event. The swimming pool area is also very beautiful, perfect for enjoying a sun bath, relaxing or reading a book. We highly recommend this charming and beautiful place and hope to come back soon!
