what another great stay with Ben and Hetty, upgraded some rooms since our last visit in June, we had one of the new ensuite rooms, quality upgrade by Ben with nice lighting and fixings, so perfect for our stay, and of course all the other qualities Baton Rouge offers, Bens Bar, Hetty's cooking, safe garage for the bikes, great company of fellow bikers, all taken in while sampling great Belgian beers, can't wait to go back next year to experience the great hospitality and the smooth roads around the Ardenne just made for bikes.

This place had been recommended by a friend so as we were on holiday in the area, sent an email asking if we could book a double room. The reply said yes, they had beds for us!

When we arrived we were met by a man who claimed they weren't expecting anyone else that day! We mentioned the email confirmation and parked our bikes in the garage. During the process of unpacking our bikes other people arrived and started messing around in the confined garage. In the process they knock my crash helmet off the chair onto the floor! They weren't bother about it and said they were just messing!

Just after this, the man informed us that the email said they had beds but they were bunk beds in a shared dorm!!! No thanks very much so we packed up everything again and left booking a local hotel in town! We had made a special journey to get to this place and it won't be repeated! Not impressed at all. 

Give this a miss! Awful place!

Our trip this year coincided with my Birthday and a journey down to Austria, so what better place to stop off on route than with Ben and Hetty, we had 2 nights here this time, room was comfortable, showers were good, bike parking excellent, Bens bar serves the best Belgian beers, and the company was terrific, my wife and I had another very memorable stay, evening meals were plentiful and well cooked, breakfast was filling with everything you would expect of a continental breakfast, eggs, cheese, ham, bread, juice and plenty of good coffee. The roads around this hotel are terrific with plenty of places to visit, especially if you enjoy Belgian beer, Val Dieu was close as is Aschouffe. Cant wait to visit again, soon I hope? :)
If your a biker, you'll love this place and the company. Made to feel very welcome by all your fellow guests, no matter what their nationality.

My happy Birthday with Ben and Hetty

Very rude intolerant owners Ben & Hettie. Minimal breakfast. BBQ is very restricted for 25 euro.
A few showers for many people. Smelly dirty dogs running around the place.
Parking your bike is possible, but you can never get it out again when you want to because of the limited space.
Left immediately after 1 night.

Total disaster.

Arrived early to be met by Ben and let into the huge garage to park for the night, down to the bar for a welcome coffee and shown to our room after Ben had got it ready for us, then down to the bar to sample some great beers Ben and Hetty stock in their great bar while Hetty prepared dinner. The whole stop at Baton Rouge was perfect!if If you ride two wheels and enjoy similar company you'll love this place and the location. Downside if there is one, is that the rooms are not ensuite, but the showers are plentiful, shower room was downstairs to our room and clean and tidy, plenty of hot water. Toilet was just next door.
Ben and Hetty program your sat nav with all the local roads or routes if needed, and this place is situated in a great area to visit both Spa and the Nurburgring, roads to and from are perfect for two wheels.
All in all perfect for a stopover while visiting the Ardenne.

Good Biker hotel in a great location, very relaxed stay.

We stayed here recently as part of our European bike tour, I'll be honest when we first pulled up we wondered where we had come to as it is a little 'rustic'. However, we had a great time, the owners and staff are great! 

The rooms as I say are rustic but clean. The food was very good. 
The bike garage is perfect. 

We will definitely go back.
