Rooms are excellent. Very clean and well maintained. The shower and bathrooms are really nicely done. Would stay there again.

I booked a room here for a two-day meeting. Sara was really helpful in providing directions from the airport and arranging a remote check-in (I arrived while she was traveling). The room was really comfortable and had everything I needed. Very convenient location, near several bus lines. Highly recommended!

This was a great room in a very convenient location (close to the railway station and the European Community). The owner, Sarah, is extremely nice and helpful. I truely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. Our flight was delayed a lot so we missed check in but she stayed up late to make sure we could still get our room which helped us enormously. The room was very comfortable and the building was in a very nice location.

Stayed 4 days. Lovely, clean, big room. The bathroom was very clean, large space and big towels. The owner was very friendly and quick responsive. I was very impressed with the room and stay. Defiantly recommend.

~What I wanted~

My girlfriend and I came to Brussels for 2 days/1 night. We looked for a place to stay not too far away from downtown and with a car park nearby.

~ What I got~

Location:
Located in a very nice residential neighborhood, it just takes a couple of minutes to walk to the EU’s instituions. Downtown is a 20 minute walk, which I would definitely recommend as one comes across several nice stores and restaurants as well as sights such as the Belgian Parliament, St Michael’s Cathedral and eventually la Grande Place. However subway and bus stops are nearby the B&B.

All in all a perfect location which is situated in a nice, quiet street but yet just minutes away from many things Brussels has to offer.

Room:
Wonderful. Spacious, nicely arranged and furnished with love for details. Bed super comfy - after walking 24 kms the first day I was very happy about that! Small fridge with snacks and drinks. The beer was very much appreciated as my good night refresher! All items one Euro/each. Complimentay fruit and water.
Large Samsung-TV.
The bathroom is top notch, towels, shower gel and shampoo included.

Last but not least: Extremely clean. I really 
set a high value on cleanliness when sleeping away from home and I was not disappointed.

Amenities:
Free to use kitchen with coffee maker (coffee is provided). We didn’t take advantage of the kitchen, but I was really happy to not have to leave the house in order to get my morning caffeine. Very clean.
Breakfast can be added at a surcharge if desired.

Other:
Landlady and her family are great. Caring and friendly, make you feel like home and not just like ‘another customer’.
English spoken.

~Conclusion~

Worth the money by all means. Whoever is looking for a lovely accomodation for a city trip to Brussels I would absolutely tell you to come here.
Brussels is really nice and once I come back, I now know where to stay.


This is a charming place to stay, we had a lovely warm welcome and the host was informative and polite and efficient. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, the shower was excellent, the beds were very comfortable. We were surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was, we had the best nights sleep we had had for a long time.

Easy, comfortable stay

I had a good stay at EU B&B. 

Sara was very helpful in arranging for my arrival and access. My room on the lower floor was comfortable with a great shower. I opted to include breakfast which was laid out with yoghurt, coffee, fruit, cereals and some bread and jam; though there are nearby places if you prefer to head out. 

Location is dependent on your needs. It is very close to the EU parliament and various related parts of the city: about a 30 minute walk to the centre of town and the main tourist areas; with easy access to public transport.

It was a decent practical option and would likely stay there again. It’s probably more suited to business travellers or tourists that are out and about most of the day; rather than those looking for a space to relax and hang out a bit.

Decent option in a practical location

Accommodation
We stayed at EU B&B for one night. We booked a small room, but Sara offered us a bigger room upon arrival free of charge. The room was on the ground floor; it was spacious, comfortable, had lovely purple colours and looked exactly like on the website pictures. It was a historic building with high ceilings and big windows; therefore the room was bright and cosy. Bathroom had an average size, looked freshly renovated. A refrigerator with soft and alcoholic drinks was in the room as well, prices were very cheap (beer can 1-2 Euros). A small kitchen was offered for use to every guest, Nespresso coffee machine and capsules were provided free of charge. The only minus was the thin walls and bad sound insulation. We could hear people talking and passing by our room. Other than that the accommodation was perfect for a couple.

Location/Parking
B&B is located in a quiet area of Brussels. We did not use public transport & decided to walk to the city centre, which was fine as the weather was nice. For a colder period of time we would recommend to travel by bus as the walk will take at least 30 minutes.
We were able to park for free as we were provided with a parking permit – for further parking info in the area speak with Sara.

Cleanliness
Our room and the kitchen area were tidy; it was noticeable that Sara is taking care of her B&B with love :)

Stuff
Sara was a pleasant and very helpful woman; she answered all of our questions and allowed us to check out one hour later. 

Food/Drinks
As it’s a B&B we did not expect food or drinks. But it was very nice that good coffee and some drinks in the mini bar were provided.

Value for money
For our one night stay we paid 69 Euros and consider it very good value for money. We really enjoyed our stay, did not feel any rush with check out and therefore had a relaxed weekend in Brussels. We definitely recommend this hotel to couples with no kids and hope you will enjoy our stay as we did.

High ceilings & nice coffee

As good as a B&B gets

Charming calm quiet stay.... perfect

Let’s get the warnings out of the way first – this hotel won’t be for everyone. It’s a little difficult to find, it’s a bit rough around the edges, there’s no air-conditioning, the room that I was in didn’t have a safe and for whatever reason I had to pay them directly despite having booked through Expedia. If you can get over all that then this is a very good budget option in a better than expected location.

I was lucky enough to be put in the self-contained room at the back; actually with that room being located on its own it’s more like a chalet. At first sight I thought, ‘I can’t see this working out’! They did their best to make me feel at home(e.g. providing me with a fan cooler on request and providing a free bowl of fruit and bottle of water) and then left me alone thereafter. That room at the back has kitchen facilities, an iron and an ironing board although I only used the kettle and the fridge. The TV in that room was above average and I found the double bed to be comfortable. The room and the en-suite facilities were cleaned each day without fuss. I didn’t make use of the communal kitchen so I can’t comment upon the breakfast that they provide. If you don’t want to pay for that then don’t worry, there are plenty of breakfast options available without a 10 minute walk if you head towards the EU area. I was told that the room at the back is better than the other rooms so if it’s possible then that is probably the room to go for.

The main reason why I chose EU B&B is its proximity to the green spaces around Square Ambiorix and Square Marie-Louise and Parc du Cinquantenaire which I had no trouble intuitively joining up to form a circuit for my pre-breakfast jogging – if that’s the sort of thing that you’re looking for then this area and possibly this hotel is ideal.

Ideal location for joggers

Our room was upgraded to a cozy one at the garden area. It was like we have our own little house. The place was clean and complete with stuff that we needed. The breakfast was delivered at the time that we wanted and we had it there itself in our room. I personally liked the rainshower - this is what I am always looking for in hotels/guesthouses. The room was spacious and we had our own wifi connection. The place is very close to a bus stop that goes to the city center. Its like a 30-second walk from the main door. Then there is a metro station Schuman which is like 7-10 minutes away. Sara was very friendly and responds to email promptly. We would definitely book here again.

Home Feel

Located few minutes walk from the European parliament and the Schuman square with both underground station, train station to and from the airport and local bus to the airport as well as bus stop just 10 meters from the door the B&B is a convenient place for visiting Brussels. I had a nice single room in the basement with private bathroom. Very quiet with no noise at all. Room was clean and in good conditions. 

Good B&B for visiting Brussels 

I had very pleasant experience during my stay at EU B&B for 6 days on 8-13 July. The accommodation is very well situated, only 5 minutes walking-distance from EU institution areas. Sara and her husband were very easy to reach and always ready to cater my needs. I stayed at the newly-built garden suite. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were great. The place is highly recommended for anyone wishing to stay in home-like environment, close to EU buildings. 

Beyond expectation

It's a very nice B&B very close to Schuman. The room is quite nice, sufficiently big, private and renovate bathroom.
It's quite comfortable. It has a small fridge.
The room is very comfortable and the shower is great.
Very close to Ambiorix where you can get several buses: 63 takes you to Gare Central that is also quite close to Grande Place.
Sara is very kind to all the customers and makes you feel at home!
