We get there and find the air conditioning and heating broken in the room. No apologies. No moving of rooms despite requesting it. So night Q of our 2 night stay we had to open the windows wide to cool the room

Next day we see Management. Sorry it’s Sunday maintenance to fix it don’t work Sunday ! . 

Spoke to owner who was rude and patronising . When I complained she said “ yeh , yeh, yeh , yeh I understand”. Still charges for the night we barely slept. Finally she does us a big favour and finds us a new room for night 2. 

Staff in breakfast room- other than Yusuf- were dreadful. Disinterested and clearly not happy in here jobs. 

Breakfast consisted of fruit salad with predominantly tinned fruit. The fresh ffruit was tired and discoloured.   I could go on. 

Avoid this awful hotel

Rude management. Rude staff.

We stayed at this hotel for the Ironman event. 
We found this end of the beach front to be lovely, full of great restaurants, beach bars and of course the wonderful sandy beach. 
Our room was a quad room, which was a great size. Very clean, comfy beds with a lovely shower including toiletries. 
Breakfast was a calm affair, with a good selection of fresh foods. 
Staff were both polite and professional. 
We will be returning.

A great hotel in a super location.

They attempted to give us a small room (very small) even though we had booked and paid for a standard room. Careful if it’s fully booked they may give you a small room even if you pay for a standard room. No tea and coffee in the room - more like a three star rather than four star hotel.

Felt like a 3 star hotel

The hotel was nice and staff friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay there (family outing). I think the only down side is that the hotel is rather old (old bathroom and thin walls) although it was clean! 

The rooms are on the small side and the single beds were way too small for my comfort (didn’t manage to sleep well). 

Overall the service and stay was good.

Friendly staff, but small beds and thin walls

Location is exceptional. Rooms are clean but rather small and a bit outdated. Breakfast is my favorite meal and was very nice. I was a bit disappointed in how the hotel charged the parking place. I checked in on Friday 3 pm and checked out on Sunday around 10.30 am. Less than 48 hours, still had to pay for 3 days. That didn’t feel right, considering the total amount payed. A bit overpriced, but that’s Knokke in general. In sum: good, definitely not mind blowing 

Perfect Location

My partner and I spent a couple of days on the Belgian Coast staying at Hotel Atlanta.  The hotel's location is excellent; a block from the sea, within steps of the restaurants on the Ruebensplein and a short walk from all of the attractions of Knokke and Zoute.  The hotel itself is fine: our room was small but well equipped (we had requested a larger room but somehow that did not work out), the room was very clean and the hotel itself is nicely appointed but a bit old fashioned.  It was fine for a short stay - but this is not international standard luxury.  Also, the rooms lack airco; during our stay in mid May we found our room warm and stuffy even with the windows vented.  Breakfast was good with a standard variety of items; its nothing special.  Service ranged from an efficient welcome at check in to rather rude waiters at breakfast.  And, note that the paid onsite parking requires that you leave your key with reception so that they can move cars around and block you in to maximize space; this is something that we found problematic and luckily found a space on the street. 

The hotel is good value for the money (in the off season - don't know about the summer months); the location is perfect and everything else is "good enough" for a short stay on the coast.

We were staying in Atlanta already some years ago and were in favour of the location near the beach and "Zeedijk". The house is family run, offers all you need for a couple of nights. Our room and bath was not too big, but sufficient and pricewise rather attractive for a hotel that near to the water in the top city on the belgian coast. They also offer family rooms for parents with children (in our case important, travelling with 10 people of three families / generations). All personell is very friendly and helpful. A bar is run by the nightporter, so parents can enjoy a nightcup (several wonderful belgian beer types as well as other different bottled drinks).
One of the extraordinary highlights is the possibility for guests to book (together with your room) a parking space. Whenever you are in Knokke, you realize, why this is a very useful added value to this hotel.

I can't really see how this hotel is rated 4*, the rooms are tiny and the bathroom very tired and in need of renovation, although to be fair the room was very clean.
Friendly member of staff on reception,  he was keen to point us in the right direction when we were going out and about.  
The breakfast buffet provided plenty of choice
Good location and the on-site parking is a bonus.
Overall, this is an adequate hotel but it hasn't got any wow factor.
