Since you pretty much need to use the metro in Vienna no matter where you stay, this place was perfect. Just two blocks from the nearest station. Everything was clean and the staff friendly. Card access 24 hours. One of the best prices as well for 4 people.

Enjoyed my stay and is close to the Metro system. The only thing this Hotel could use is in room air conditioning.

It was a pleasant surprise - very spacious rooms at a very affordable price. And in very close proximity to the railway station.

We used the room very little as we were there to sight see. It was clean and wonderful for our needs. Very plain but very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Would recommend it to others.

My booking assured my room was secure. When I arrived in was put in a large room as no singles were left. I was told I would need to swap back over tomorrow but no details of a time. Whilst checking in there were a group on young men in reception, one of which tried to talk to me. He asked the man at reception serving me was my room for one person or two. This is found very disconcerting.I awoke at 8.30am to banging at my door. When I answered it no one was there. At 11.30am whilst I was getting ready, loud banging at the door again. I answer to a woman who looked like a member of the cleaning staff. She was talking in a language I did my understanding with a pen and paper in her hand. When I told her I didn't understand she spoke again but in German. I understood the words "reception" and "geld" meaning money. I told her I paid in advance. I had also given the man on reception when booking in a copy of this paperwork but at no time did he log anything. Once I was ready I went to reception. I spoke with different man. He said I would need to come back in one hour to change rooms. the time was 12.30 and this was starting to waste my day. When I arrived back at 1.30pm another man was at reception. He was very helpful. He said the only other rooms available were not singles so no point in moving me for one night. He was also there when I left the next day.This hotel is 10-15 mins walk from Vienna Hauptbahnhof station depending on your pace.

It was my second time in Vienna, first time at Hotel Cyrus. I chose this hotel because of its location. It's a 10 minute walk to Wien Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), but you need to take the metro to go to Wien Westbahnhof Train Station-20 minutes by metro.Stephansplatz is 4 metro stop away (U1), and Karlsplatz is 3 metro stop away (U1). Nearest metro stop to the hotel is Keplerplatz-2 minutes to the hotel by walk.My point is the location is perfect.However, the hotel needs a renovation. I was aware of the hotel's star level when I booked a room, but still, the hotel could be better. Because of its plain decoration, it appears like a dirty hotel. By the way, toilets need a serious renovation. I have stayed at 2 star hotels, but Hotel Cyrus is not good because of the room's toiltes.The best thing about the hotel is its perfect location. Probably, it is the cheapset hotel when you think about the location.

Convenient for the train station and the metro...not a very nice area, but near to the metro to take you into the Old City Center for touring. The price was very good, but this was not luxury living!

This is a very convenient hotel for the main central train station in Vienna, but is in a rather working class area of town. The hotel staff were friendly, but it seemed to be an apartment converted into a hotel so the room we had was rather strangely arranged. The bathroom was very small, but the water pressure and heater worked well. This I definitely not luxury, but was easily accessible by train and four simple stops away from the old town and all the sites you want to see in Vienna.

The hotell was hard to find and it wasn´t finished. The staff was friendly tough. The rooms were too big for us! There were one totally empty room (maybe a kitchen-to-be?), a very very small bathroom... and a massive bedroom with two singlebeds and one dubblebed. The location was right at a highroad, and even when we had the windows closed it was too noisy... I would not book this hotell again.

Large space and close to the railway line

This was my first stay at Vienna. Had chosen this property as a transit point due to its nearness to eurocars terminal.
Positives of the property:
1. Bang on the main road.
2. Pocket friendly
3. Spacious rooms
4. Good buffet breakfast.
5. Nearness to market and Restaurants.

Negatives are:
1. Smell of tobacco in all the rooms and corridors.
2. Dark and gloomy look 
3. Serves only breakfast. Not other meals.
