This is a first class accommodation, everything has been thought of in very classy rooms. Some rooms have fabulous ocean views. It is in a great location opposite the beautiful main beach. It is not cheap but very worth it, we had a front room and was one of the best small apartments we have ever stayed in! Yamba town is of course also fabulous.

Well what can I say about this hotel..? Overlooking the Yamba beachfront, Dolphins swimming in the sea as you look on from the upper balcony and all from a beautifully appointed and decorated stylish hotel..

Rooms look exactly as you see them on the website. Furnished “on point” and extras like free refreshments upstairs aswell in your room, ice machine, free laundry facilities, surfboards and parking.
We only stayed one night as our itinerary was tight but we didn’t want to leave…

Beachside chic hotel at its best….

Really a great place to stay - gorgeous rooms overlooking the sea - so clean!! Rooftop pool and sun lounges - quiet - car parking - nothing to fault. Friendly, cross the road to the ramp to the beach with a great kiosk for breakfast when it’s open

Nothing at all to fault

Wow! The Surf Yamba was the perfect place for us to spend our anniversary weekend. This beautifully decorated boutique hotel impresses from the minute you enter. Every little detail has been thought of and makes you feel very spoilt. We stayed in the Main Beach room that overlooks the beach and has a wrap around deck to enjoy the view. The room was stylishly decorated and impressive. The rooftop pool was the perfect space to relax and unwind with our morning coffee and pizza and cocktails in the afternoon. The Breakwater room is also an amazing space to sit and unwind, enjoying complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits and fruit. The friendly host Garry made us feel extremely welcome and offered local knowledge and restaurant recommendations. We cannot wait to come back!

Pure Bliss

The rooms are beautifully renovated and decorated.  Beware when booking as there are only 4 rooms with views, the rest look out to a building.  Best to book directly as the websites have tiny writing stating seaview. There is a lovely shared rooftop that has a small plunge pool with seaviews and a 2nd deck with a coffee bar and snacks provided.
Minibar is included. Worth the price only if u get a sea view room.

Get a view

We stay in a lot of very nice hotels and had reasonably low expectations for a one night stop over in Yamba but WOW this place is amazing! They have done an incredible job with the fitout, the attention to detail was amazing. Very friendly staff, fab room great location and the rooftop common areas are really lovely. Will definitely be back. Big thumbs up!

Superb Surfy

Lovely boutique hotel. Very easy checkin. Lots of added charm. The break room on roof top with tea and coffee and biscuits and fabulous views. Snacks in room and lovely extra large bath towels. We had fabulous views from our room. Easy walk to hotel for dinner or some of the cafes. Beach very close.  Loved having a microwave in the room.

Boutique Motel

We absolutely loved our stay at The Surf. The property is beautiful, the upstairs areas are fantastic, and our room was excellent. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had of stayed longer. Everything in our room was such high end - even the shampoo smelt devine. The service was brilliant and Garry was a delight to talk to. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful 2 night stay - wish we stayed longer.

It was a perfect couple of days in Yamba,  The town is great,  and enhanced by staying at the Surf.   
Room was stunning, very modern,  and cannot be faulted in anyway.
We used the pool on the roof top, and enjoyed lounging in the sundeck area.
As an added bonus, we were able to use the Hotels beach chairs and body boards to walk down to the beach.   Garry was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
We would def stay here again.

You won't be disappointed

Lovely boutique hotel. Lots of amenities- stocked bar, snacks in the room, towels for the beach, beach chairs, and even a surf board to borrow. Room was very comfortable. We were on the 2nd floor and could not see the beach but room was large and comfortable. Had a lovely dinner 2 buildings down at the Sandbar.
