WE had booked in for just a night on our journey back from Adelaide to home in Melbourne. we had booked a cabin which was terrific. 

Being winter, the reverse cycle conditioner was on heat and the cabin was comfy warm. The kitchen area was very well set up for meals and had plenty of crockery and   utensils. Sharp knives were a bonus which enabled us to prepare a delicious southern rock lobster which we had purchased in the town are.

Sitting area was great, TV was excellent and the eating area was great as well. Sleep was a pleasure in a very comfortable bed. Great shower and water pressure in the morning.

Pleasant Surprise

Great park with large grassy sites. Plenty of space to set up for a few nights and loads of room to park the car. 

A large number of walking tracks around town and one starts just outside the back gate to the park where you can walk all the way through town to the Obelisk.

We stayed mid week so lots of free sites to either side of us.

While it’s not in the middle of town the park is protected from the windy coast.

Tranquil large sites in a bushy setting

Nice camping and lovely spot. Please do check the laundry machines as one had rust on it and our white wash went completely orange… The staff were helpful though in finding a solution but did not offer any damage compensation.

We were travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide and stayed for 2 nights at this holiday park.  It was very spacious, clean and well located.  The laundry was well equipped.  The two people I met on the reception desk were chatty and friendly and offered good advice regarding places to visit.  Highly recommend.

Very well priced accommodation

My husband and I had a studio cabin which consisted of a Queen bed and two Single beds.  This cabin was spacious and clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay.  It was also extremely well priced compared to other places we had stayed on our trip.

Pleasant Experience

Great bush setting but need to improve two things - I travelled 4 hours and was looking forward to hot shower and it was luke warm!!!!! Also no toasters. Every camping ground has toasters. That really upset me. Great internet

Get toasters

Great camp ground. We loved our grassy site among the trees. Near to one of the communal fire  pits which was good for evening conversation with other campers . Lovely, friendly staff and clean facilities.  We took our bikes and it was easy to hop onto the coastal path for a short ride (or walk) into town. Highly recommend!

Top camping spot

Quiet oh so quiet even the birds respect your peace, We stayed in a cabin for 3 nights  on a must getaway R&R break for She was recovering from foot surgery, So no walking  just driving everywhere, Lots of scenic places, 7 nights would have been better.
Lots of wildlife on the roads and in paddocks be careful whilst driving around sun down & sun up. Lots of eateries some up market some pub grub, a good mix,
Robe is a tourist town so prices are up a bit, but still a great place to stay.

SHHH  Listen to the birds

We recently camped at the park for 8 nights and absolutely loved it.  We were in our camper trailer and were on site 102, close to the toilets and showers which were spotless, and a bbq area.  The sites were lovely with trees everywhere and the sites spacious, even over the March long weekend, we never felt like we were squashed in together.  We took our dog ruby and walked into town nearly everyday and loved the wonderful walking tracks, and the history of the town.  Drove on the beach at long beach which was fantastic.  The only criticism I have is the internet was pretty  much non existent over the side we were on.  Something that would have been good to know when we booked in.  The girl in the office, wasn’t much help when I enquired if there was a problem with the Internet.  Apart from that it was a brilliant stay, and I highly recommend this park.

Fantastic stay

The staff here were second to none. Friendly and helpful at every turn and the amenities and facilities we used were always spotless as were the grounds. We were in a tent on a nice grassy site near a smaller older kitchen which we just used for dish washing. There was a much larger newer camp kitchen at the other end of the site next to an older amenities block. On the downside, those with larger vans sometimes struggled to fit them on the sites and for some reason the clothes lines were old hills hoists that looked they had been in a war and lost, being extremely bent with sagging wires. These could definitely do with replacing, especially the lines with something tighter and safer than wire. We also stayed in a cabin for a couple of days off the tent which was also spotlessly clean and well equipped, although there is some road noise towards the back of the campsite. A drive, or bike ride away from town or a good 2km walk but opposite a beautiful wide sweep of beach, perfect for fishing or swimming and a good sized green space for exercising dogs or kids!! Also a small indoor pool which kids loved. Overall, a good stay.
