Here for 5 nights. Get 2 toilet rolls pay for extra toilet paper in a 2 bedroom unit. ASK for a fry pan.
 No bakeware or grill in stove= been removed. Less cooking utensils. Pay for WiFi access. Prices have gone up but getting less.

New owners. Less available in rooms.

Stayed there with a friend in Jan 2016... It started well when I refused to unpack after the first room inspection, we tried unsuccessfully to relocate....what we found was alarming, I will share some.
Mould in the smallest shower I have seen even with a 1960’s unchanged design. We then proceeded to find the remains of human specimen stains on cushions in living area. dust and cobwebs behind beds and sofa’s, damaged sofas, lights not working in both of 2 bedrooms.
Keys to the room bigger than your own home keys.... needed a bag to carry them.  Lolly and chewing gum wrappers under the sofa’s.
Then when checking out we advised the live-in caretakers ( both were rude & didn’t want to be there) that we were waiting for one of our keys to be returned after leaving at a friends..... WWIII ALMOST BROKE LOOSE.... We had to leave a disabled friend their as surety for the keys that would cost $20 to recut.

Clean sheets and superficially clean in the bathroom and kitchen are the positives. Really in need of update though. When you can see the mould in the shower screen base as soon as you walk in, you know there’s more effort required. When the condenser unit for the split system is covered in rust, it’s just not good. 

Very basic budget accommodation 

We stayed in a villa near Hole Town great time my third visit to Barbs beautiful places to eat Surf Side and lone Star some of my favourites. people really kind beaches to die for and Mount Gay rum delicious xx

Great fun

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights. We were in room 12a on the 6th floor.
The view of the ocean was amazing. The apartment was clean and comfortable 2 bedrooms...one with a queen bed and one with twin beds. 2 bathrooms.
It was spacious and has everything you need. There are only 2 apartments per floor, so would be great for large or 2 families.
Location would have to be spot on.It is out the way of all the hustle and bustle of Cavill Ave, but is close to the casino, the convention centre, pacific fair shopping centre and most of all public transport. The tram is a 2 minute walk away.
There are so many hotels to choose from in The Gold Coast. You don't need to be fancy and spend heaps of dollars on flash rooms as you are not in them long enough.
Trust me....this is the one for you. The Managers Leo and Donna are friendly and very helpful.
I will definitely be staying there again.

Location and awesome

We had to come up to Queensland on an urgent family matter and hit the start of the school holidays period which meant that a lot of the accommodation was expensive. The apartments are literally around the corner from the Broadbeach shops and restaurants and there is a Woolworths supermarket in The Oasis shopping centre.  
The apartments are well priced but you get what you are paying for.  Our apartment was in need of an upgrade/refresh and a general spring clean. I will say that the kitchen cupboards must have been updated in recent years.
The beach is at the end of the street and public transport is close by.  Your room key gets you 25% off your bill at Sage restaurant which is around the corner.
I must admit that I didn’t take any notice on the website but if you need a hair dryer then you will need to hire one per day or for your stay as they are not provided as a standard item.  Also you are only allocated one towel per person and if you need additional towels you will need to pay an additional fee.  A plus is that you get free wifi.
Also be prepared to be woken up early as there is a large apartment building under construction near by and they start early.
