Ines the owner kept in touch with us in advance of our stay and organised our transfer from BA which reassured us that all would be well. This was indeed the case. We arrived on the morning of our check in day and received a very warm welcome, including a full breakfast which was a lovely surprise, La Demorada is a beautiful house and we felt very comfortable staying there. It is only 5min walking to the main square and 20min to the bus station. All in all our stay was the perfect start to our Argentine adventure - muchisima gracias Ines!

Perfect start to our Argentine adventure!

My wife and I have just spent a week at La Demorada and would have stayed longer had their been availability.

This is such a stylish, tasteful and calm place, very much a reflection of the lovely lady that owns it.

It is a private house, so doesn't come with the trappings of a fancy hotel, but that is the charm of staying in this kind of place. We loved the terrace, the peace and quiet and the views of the garden. And I must add that the town itself is a gem, there's lots to do, and we loves every minute. Thanks again Inês. What a lovely house

We had a lovely time in here. The atmosphere of the house is perfect, every detail is taken into account. It makes you daydream. Ines is so kind and the place has so many facilities. It has a parrilla in the backyard.

Excellent stay

This is an exceptional guesthouse, and quite charming.

The setting is lovely - a tranquil street in the beautiful riverside town of San Antonio de Areco, within an easy walk of the romantic old plaza, museum, cafes, restaurants & bars, the picturesque river, characterful cattle farms, and shops selling local arts & crafts as well as everyday supplies.

Inés is the perfect host. She is widely travelled and a great conversationalist. I enjoyed our chats very much!

The guest room in which i stayed (one of the two available) was very pretty and very comfortable. It had its own private balcony. It had charm and personality.

Breakfast is delicious. You'll love the fresh orange juice from one of Inés' own fruit trees! (Ask Inés if you'd like to buy a jar or two of her neighbour's wonderful homemade honey and fruit conserves!) Inés is also a talented ceramic artist, and you can view some of her interesting pieces which are for sale.

This is a real home with an attractive kitchen, a lovely dining room which also showcases Inés' artistic creations, a gorgeous garden with lemon and orange trees, two adjoining upstairs guestrooms with balconies, and a small sitting room exclusively for the use of guests.

Delightful guesthouse. A++ Recommended

Our stay in Inés' home was a highlight of our time in Argentina. With only two guest rooms, it has a cosy, intimate feeling, and we loved chatting to Inés over breakfast, and hanging out with the two cats in the sunny backyard. The house is filled with beautiful objects and works of art, many of which Inés created herself, and there's a wonderful balcony looking over the rooftops of San Antonio. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night!

A beautiful home

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous house, with all the necessities, a great breakfast and a very kind, helpful host who spoke fantastic English. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in town.

Cosy homie feel

We had a wonderful stay! This is a gorgeous place, no detail overlooked. Everything was perfect from the breakfast which was made fresh each morning, To the peaceful balcony that was connected to our room. You must stay here if you want to have a fabulous trip to San Antonio de Areco! I would absolutely stay here again and am looking forward to it.

Absolutely wonderful!

After three months of traveling through South America we had a restful, dare I say serene, experience over four nights. Our host, English-speaking Inez, was most welcoming and helpful. She served excellent breakfasts and showed us her weaving and artwork. Her house is interestingly designed with generous shared spaces including a beautiful terrace. Our room was very comfortable and, unusually, everything worked!

A Tranquil Retreat

This was the most relaxing place in my wonderful 2 week trip in Northern Argentina, with my niece,   From the moment we were greeted by Inez to when we left the following day, we were made to feel special   And encouraged to make ourselves at home.  It was lovely to be able to order a home delivery and eat at the kitchen table and to get up before the others were awake (apart from Inez) and pad downstairs barefoot to fill the kettle kept on the mezzanine and then sit quietly overlooking the garden,  thank you so much, Inez.  I really wish we could have stayed longer.
