Lovely rustic cabanas 1.5 hr walk from town (which suited us) most people who stayed had a car.  Julietta was amazing along with her son & dogs who all made us feel part of the family.  On many occasions she offered us lifts to town & went out of her way to keep us happy. We extended our stay & were very sad to leave.

Rustic cabanas

There are many options for cabanas in this region but these were the only ones we stayed at in Argentina so any comparison is against similar types of property we have stayed at in other countries. 

The property is well located about 50m from the main road out of Bariloche so there is some traffic noise, but it is not too bad (we were there in the shoulder season and it was already busy, so it is hard to say what peak season is like).There is a large supermarket a few minutes away as well as a couple of good places to eat.

The owners are lovely and very welcoming and helpful. However the plot is quite small and there is nowhere nice to sit outside the cabins really. The cabins themselves are very simple, but functional and you have everything you need there. However things are quite old and worn, for example the oven and so on. There are also no net curtains on the window for privacy. 

What I will note is that the price was quite high for what you get, especially given that Argentina isnt the most expensive country. Compared to other cabins we have used across the Americas and Europe the ratio of quality of cabin to price was quite poor.
