Will definitely go back! Very affordable, safe, staffs are very accommodating and friendly ,, the location is perfect. Worth it and I really enjoyed it..wifi is fast and there is a mini bar cocktail drinks and beers plus you can order food downstairs...

Best Location! Excellent Budget Capsule Hotel for Backpackers!

I travel to Vietnam once a year 
I incurred a local Vietnamese woman who vocally & physically me with a chair & slapped me across the face as she wasn't happy with the 40% tip I gave
The staff (especially danh!) went so out of his way to help & assist me Zi couldn't recommend a better place with such helpful staff!!!

Amazing Staff / fantastic facilities

I spent 3 nights in this hostel and it was above my expectation. The rate, location, and service were excellent. You need only 3 minutes walk to The Sinh Tourist and night culinary market. The staffs speak English and helpful. Highly recommended for solotravelers and travelers need privacy!

Warm and friendly!

I like the concept of the capsule hotel, the bed looked clean and guest were respectful. The location was great! I like that we have lockers near our bed. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, the staff could be nicer, I had to go 3 times to the front desk to ask for toilet paper in the bathrooms. It was kind of expensive for the service.

Cool capsule hotel but needs a few improvements.

The room was large with a sofa to lay your things on, the bed was also very comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful as well as warm. 
Normal hotel process, cleaned everyday etc.
Only saw one cockroach within 6 nights. 
However the room stank of smoke, it was very overwhelming the second we walked in the door, this also made our clothes smell as well. 
Located very close to the main strip with bars and restaurants, very good location but could be considered too loud for some people.

Good but shame about the smell

We booked a double room here which was ok, the bed was really comfy which is surprising for a hostel. 

The room we stayed in was nice and quiet, probably due to it being at the back of the hotel. I’m not sure if the same would be said for rooms at the front, as it is situated on a busy road with lots of cars, motorbikes and bars. 

As HCMC is so large, it was difficult to venture far from district 1. Luckily, there are a lot of restaurants and bars on the same street as the hostel so we ate a few doors down both nights in HCMC. 

It is a 15 minute walk to Ben Thành market and 25 to the war remnants museum. The journey to/from the airport took us nearly an hour due to the traffic. 

Overall a good cheap stay at a pretty standard hostel. 

Not bad

This hostel was okay , i spent a night here and regretted it and changed hotels immediately to sunland hotel capsule hotel . price was double but worth it . the bed was super thin and hard, message to the owner its time to invest in some memory foam mattresses. Other then the hard thin bed everything was okay. I would return of they improved the bed. Location is good right at the end of bui vien. Close to tourist locations. Stop it with the $5 (100k) deposit for towels. Its a bad way to treat guest. Ive stayed at many other hostels and the ones that do this always leave a bad impression as the owner is trying to cut corners i assume. If you cant provide guest with towels for free. I question how you treat your staff. 

Tips for improvment. Upgrade bed, free towels and water. Raise price few dollars once upgrades have been done. 

This place was ok,  bed was hard. 

Black mould in the bathrooms of the 4th floor and 5th floor. I told the front desk (in Vietnamese so he could understand me) and he just laughed and smiled, then went back to his video on his phone. i even told him how dangerous it was for the guests - chronic coughing and sneezing, irritation to the eyes, mucus membranes of the nose and throat, rashes, chronic fatigue and persistent headaches can all be symptomatic of black mold exposure and you can have very serious health problems if exposure is bad. I think the photos show that the problem is out of control, they didnt even close the bathroom though. I requested that I be allowed to shower on floor 5 because it is less mouldy, this seemed to really annoy the staff member and he didnt turn the lights on for me. I had to go down again to ask him to turn the lights on, he glared at me and said something in Vietnamese that I couldnt understand to his colleague. He probably would have been happier if I not caused a fuss, he seemed mad that I interrupted the game he was playing on the computer. This place should be shut down until they fix them problem.

Lobby bathroom is always disgusting and backed up, I also don't think that they ever wash the sandals they give you to wear upstairs so I must pray I don't have a foot fungus from using them. there were a few big cockroaches in the lobby kitchen too. I will never come back here and hope that my review will stop other people from breathing in the harmful mould. It makes you wonder how bad everything else is if they let things get that out of control.

Black mold in the bathrooms, do not ever stay here.

The place is ok location is nice but the staff are not so nice specially the lady receptionist she is very rude. They even accused me  of something I did not do. When I came back I booked again but they cancelled my booking. accusing me that they found something ilegal under my bed. But when I arrived it was 
so late already for me to find a 
new hotel fore to stay. Having this kind of accusations I was even  scared to unlock my luggage afraid that they might put something in my luggage to justify their accusations. Although the owner is nice and 
accepted me back to stay I did not anymore because I will not be relax and watch my things all the time. I will not recommend this place.

My stay

The wifi was terrible and there was no hot water. We had bought bus tickets through the hotel. The day we were supposed to leave, the staff told us to wait in the lobby and they would tell us when it was time to leave. The staff were so busy watching youtube videos that they didn't notice the time, forgot to tell us to leave and we missed our bus. They were rude and rolling their eyes and laughing. They then booked us another bus for a much cheaper price, but instead of giving us the money left over from the last (and more expensive) bus, the lady kept it for herself and wouldn't refund us. If enjoy ice cold showers and rude, thieving staff - Hong Kong Kaiteki Hotel is for you!
