Absolute perfection in Gran Roque!
Posada Galapagos is a real gem. I wish my three nights stay could have lasted much longer!
The place is enchanting. The rooms are cozy and freshly updated. The team is simply AMAZING, friendly, smiley, welcoming and always attentive.
The whole show is run by the owner, Paola, who is a character on her own! She is attentive to details and to the well being of her guests.
The best part is the restaurant which serves 5* meals, based on fresh and local products.
The bar serves excellent cocktails and the crew is hyper competent.
I normally like to add a constructively critical comment to my reviews but there is not a single moment at La Posada Galapagos that wasn't amazing.

The processes they have and the staff thinks about everything for you so you can maximize your experience. The service is out of this world, with staff that’s always willing to help. The food is chef-grade for every meal including the beach.

We were a big group staying at Posada Galapagos for three days. At all time the service, food and plans were top in class. Nothing to complain, fully recommended. They are on top of everything you need to do. Since you get there only need to know your room number and relax.

The only place in the island where we could have a varied menu...that is, other proteins that were not just fish and fish and fish; after 10 days in the location, fish only can get old.  They do serve other proteins such as meat and poultry.  However, whatever they serve was very flavorful and plentiful ... actually and excess of excellent food would be a better definition.  Regarding the rooms, they were clean and well appointed.  I must tell you that of the many places in the Island, none can compare with the detail, cleanliness and decor, (including tv), all at a reasonable price with and Italian owner and his Colombian wife that take care of the installations and you can notice the difference.  Dont miss this hotel even if you only eat there.

Los Roques is a wonderful place to go for holidays, the beaches and landscape is just breathtaking. La Posada was a good place to stay, they are very friendly and service oriented. The limitations of water at the island makes staying a bit uncomfortable, but is not their fault.

I spent an agonizingly long time on TripAdvisor before committing to a specific posada for our trip to Los Roques because I wanted to be sure we were getting the best deal possible and would be safe and comfortable while so far from home, especially in a country that is not recommended for travel by Americans. 
I needn't have worried, because everyone in Los Roques was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and welcoming beyond all of my expectations, including Paola and Ivan, who run Posada Galapagos. 
A lot of extraneous reviews from years back come up on the front of this page, but I can say that in my experience, it was nothing but lovely. No posada on the island is a luxury resort, which is a huge part of the appeal. That being said, our room had AC, DirecTV, a hammock, and bean bag lounge chairs as well as plenty of hot water; we also had a full bar in the dining area. Guests at other posadas were amazed by this, as they did not have these amenities and paid  more, though also enjoyed their stays. Basically, no one is in a bad mood here, for good reason!
The food was delicious, with variations of fresh fish at every meal, and amazing jugos naturales. 
To give you an idea of the hospitality, I'll share that when all of a sudden our TV lost its sound (no big deal to us anyway), we casually inquired about it and they immediately sent the chef, who is also a problem-solver, to tinker with it. He stayed there and helped us get it working again even though it was a bit before dinner and he surely had prep to do. Later, when my phone was water damaged by going for a swim in the beautiful crystal-clear waters, he gladly supplied dry rice for me to bag it in. 
Paola was wonderful as well, speaking slightly slower Spanish for us to catch all she said and suggesting different beaches to visit. Victor, who brought our coolers to the dock every day and helped us with our luggage, was so friendly and always smiling. They all made us feel like we were part of their community in Los Roques, and this allowed us to really forget everything about life and work back in New York. 

Fantastic vacation, fantastic posada with great food and hospitality. I should also mention the bar makes amazing rum drinks!

Perfection the whole way!

I didn’t think a “posada” could have such an out of this world service and Los Roques has the best beaches in the world!

Wonderful posada in paradise!

Very good place to stay in a very elegant creole environment. The rooms are very comfortable and the karaoke show made by the hostess Paola is quite interesting when she sings a song  in spanish that says she likes older men and better yet foreigners... it  is hilarious. Must ask her to sing it if you go there. The only fallback is that the disco is inside the hotel and the music can be heard very loud in the rooms. But is is a great place to enjoy and the meals are good

excellent place to stay although VERY  noisy on weekend

Nice property with an excellent service and delicious food, but with multiple spoilers. The first is that,  during the three days we stayed we had no water to shower. To brush our teeth we had to use bottled water. The second spoiler is the noise. It happens that this hotel is also a discotheque. And very loud. The third one was the smell. The lodge was next to a sewer pipe and at some hours it was quite bad. Not a good experience. Hopefully they'll fix these issues because the service and food were superb.
