I was traveling to Yuma (YPG) for a business trip. I generally don't like to stay at the big box places if I can avoid it. I Googled around and came up with the Adobe House and booked it for three nights.
Awesome place. I felt like I was at home. So comfortable. Probably cleaner than my house, and I'm a bit of a clean freak. Furniture was beautiful. Outdoors, the grounds were very well maintained..
The owner is so nice, she had wine for me every afternoon, snacks before I went out for the evening, all delicious and worthy of a top notch eatery. Even the presentation was a work of art.
Breakfast was over the top every day. TOO much to eat, so I was able to skip lunch! 
I can't say enough nice things about it. I don't write reviews, but this Gem is worth talking about.
Will definitely stay there again. If you're accustomed to nice surroundings and hospitality, this place is for you.

A great find! you will love it!

My extended business trip in Yuma lead me to The Adobe House, where I immediately felt like I had arrived at a resort somewhere other than in the middle of Yuma. The property is very unique and offers an amazing array of visual delights including gorgeous and lush plants, trees, and a sparkling pool. Kim Wright made my stay particularly special due to her amazing culinary skills. I was fortunate enough to enjoy the eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes which was spot on and delicious. The hospitality and attention to every detail reminded me of a 5-star hotel experience. 

I was lucky to enjoy The Adobe House for several weeks and am looking forward to a return visit. It truly is a perfect place to relax or work peacefully.

A special gem in the desert!

The Adobe House is a gorgeous old adobe hacienda style estate that served as our home base during the Yuma Art Symposium.  Kim was a warm and friendly host who went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant one.  Breakfast was served on a pre agreed time based on our morning schedule.  The food was  tasty and healthy.  In the afternoon the pool provided a refreshing break.  One great feature we discovered was the B&Bs close proximity to the bike trail.  We rented bikes and used them as our principal mode of transportation during our stay.  I highly recommend The Adobe House and would not hesitate to stay there during our next visit to Yuma.

Luxury in the Desert

We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer.  The grounds are beautiful with lots of places to relax and enjoy the desert weather.  Kim the host is friendly and welcoming and she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived... really, at home.  Happy hour was a pleasant surprise and the breakfasts we had were fantastic.  We did some exploring around Yuma while we were there, but spent our most enjoyable time just reading and watching birds on the grounds of the house.  We very much recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Yuma.

Much More Than Expected...

We stayed for three absolutely enjoyable nights. Where do I start? The outdoor space is spectacular ... a private hiding place with real fireplace off our room (the Oriental room), a 50ft swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, numerous sitting areas for couples or small groups. Then there's the daily happy hour at 4pm that includes wine and apps. Breakfast was creative, delicious and different everyday. Our room was large, spotless, and comfortable. 

The owner (Kim) is over-the-top hospitable and gracious.

We've stayed in 50-60 B&Bs over the past 25 years from Maine to Colorado to California. This one is at the top. I can't wait to return.
