Maybe this place was okay for others but not so much for us.  I booked 8 months in advanced and asked for a floor that would be easy to get in and out easily because I have young children.  They put us in unit 66, not even close to getting on the slopes easily.  So much for ski in and ski out.  We called and explained the situation and they did not care at all and it was what it was.  Also, the day we decided to use the hot tub, we went down at 4p and the maintenance guy said he had to fix the broiler and it would not be hot until 7p.  So we changed out of our swim stuff and waited 3 hours.  We went back down at 7p and the water was ice cold.  Guess the maintenance guy doesn't know how to actually fix a broiler.

Don't be fooled about ski-in/ski-out

Because of the pandemic, it was important for us to have a ski in/ski out unit that we could go in for lunch or any other reason during the day.  We stayed in Unit 50 at Storm Meadows East and not only was it convenient for lunch, it was perfect for all of our other needs.  The unit has been updated and was extremely well stocked with kitchen utensils. The view from the balcony was perfect and the fireplace added to the ambience. We loved staying here and if we get the opportunity to visit Steamboat again, we will stay at this specific unit again, even when the Pandemic is over!

It was a good place to stay. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped. There was a loft with a door so the kids (adult) had privacy. They also had there own bathroom. 
Mountain Resorts was super. Had a problem with a key; they came right away, bringing new keys.

Fantastic time

The location of Storm Meadow East is perfect if you really want a ski in /out location. The rooms are pretty dated but  they are clean. they have a shuttle service but it only runs at night. During the day you can get a shuttle down to the local bus pick up to go to town.

Gerat location

My family and I spent 5 days there...Dec 23 thru the 27. For the most part, we had a nice time. The location was amazing, and view was great...but the unit was not. Besides being a little outdated, the unit was dirty. The sofa was kinda sticky, the comforters were a little dingy, and the carpet was worn out, and dirty. But the worst part was the was hundreds of dead flies throughout the unit...literally! It was gross! My wife spent two hours cleaning the unit, before we unpacked. Another thing that was a little upsetting, was when my family and I arrived with our bags, and groceries,  and found the maintenance crew for Mountain Resort occupying the guest parking, in the front entrance, next to the handicap. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal...but it was right in the middle of Christmas, snowing, and it was 17 degrees. Need less to say, it would have been nice, to not have to carrying my luggage, groceries, and gear across the parking, while the employees was parked in the front, when I a paying customer. But that's just me. Other then that, everything else was OK. The view and the location, were excellent! It was a true ski in/ski out. The fire pit area was nice.

Location was great...but the condo was not!

You can't beat the location of Storm Meadows East - easy and convenient, however this unit needs to be updated. It met our needs and was a great last minute find for a quick trip that wasn't pre-planned. However, with a little updating to fix curtains, carpet and out dated worn out items - it would make a world of difference. Safe and secure, elevator in building, nice size ski storage locker and the wonderful fire pit slope side were nice bonuses.

Ski in/out AMAZING... condo not so much

We spent a long weekend, from Thursday to Sunday at this condo and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It's an older place but we didn't mind, it has a queen size sofa bed perfect for our 2 girls and a king size bed which we love. The kitchen is complete with what you need but we didn't really cook or used most of them. We brought easy to make breakfast like scones, hot chocolate, muffins, etc. we ate lunches in the mountain and go out to town which is 5 min drive for dinner. 
It's so convenient that the lockers are located in the same floor as our condo unit#41, the key card to the room is the same card you use to access the locker. It's over sized so all 4 skiing equipment fits perfectly. The hot tub is 2 floors down, it's small but it's always empty. It's about 20 steps down the stairs outside then there's your access to the mountain, super convenient. 
The only issue was parking on our last day, check out is 10am and you need to leave your key in the room. It's not a problem because we do not need the room but the only access to the parking lot is thru the building so we need the key to get to the parking lot. They helped us, just make sure you talk to the office about this and I hope by now they already figured out how to solve this issue.
We highly recommend this condo, will be back again....

A true ski in/ski out place

Accommodations were good for my wife and I. We are skiers and this is a great place to get in and out of.  We could come in for lunch and back out saving a ton of money.  For the price we will be back.  If we didn't want to wait in a lift line we could wait till later in the morning and zip out.  Skiing through lunch and come back for happy hour. 

Ski in and out good for skiers!

I would say we would consider staying here again. We got exactly what we paid for. Good bargain for ski in:ski out. Shuttle drivers were a huge plus. Our condo was perfectly adequate. My bad not realizing there was only a community washer/dryer. Only two sets for lots of people. On the stinky side too. Hallways were loud and always lit up like Christmas. Loved the ski lockers. Would consider staying here again for a bargain trip. 

Overall good trip!

I thought this place was great. It was perfect for our family snowboard vacation. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the slopes so we had a great view and also a little entertainment. Getting to the room from the parking lot with luggage was somewhat inconvenient but otherwise the place and location were everything I could have hoped for.
