Everything about this hotel was perfect, great location, very clean, friendly helpful service, the history of the building keeping with the era . Loved it loved the town location near the water everything was in walking distance. I would definitely stay there again . Thank you for your hospitality

This is cute and comfortable hotel that was perfect for a one-night getaway to Oswego. We had a room on the main floor just next to the check-in desk and it was clean and comfortable with all the usual hotel amenities. I particularly liked that the bed was high and very firm. I also was pleased that the a breakfast was included. I hadn't seen that listed as an amenity so was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the main business district so we walked there to get supper. And even though the hotel is on a busy street, it's set far enough back and is an old building with thick walls, that we didn't notice any traffic noise. I'd definitely stay here again. I liked the charm of an older building and staying in a non-chain. No complaints.

Cozy and comfortable

The hotel has a beautiful ambiance that we loved when we entered the building. We also appreciated the added security that they set up to keep non-guests out. Our hotel room was very nice. The only problem we faced was that the tv wasn't working and we couldn't figure out why (turns out it was on the wrong connection setting). 100% recommended to all who visit Oswego or SUNY Oswego, and we'll be staying here again when we come back.

Great Stay

This hotel is a real gem. Julie, who checked us in and answered any and all questions was extremely helpful!  The hotel was exceptionally clean.  The stay at Beacon Hotel was fun and interesting, not praises I would normally give a hotel.  Would definitely stay there again.

A charming and fun place to stay

We grew up in Oswego but needed to stay in a hotel for a short visit. The former Knights of Columbus hall has been transformed into this terrific boutique hotel. Many years ago, my wife's bridal shower was held in this building, and our wedding reception was across the street.

The hotel is excellent and at a fair price. We were able to stay in one of the original rooms with period original windows. The place is spotless and the management is  very friendly. The Beacon is a hotel where you get a nice place and an experience. 

Great Boutique Hotel

This is nothing fancy, but it's clean, well-appointed, and the staff is super nice. The area is walkable to restaurants and overall fairly chill. It's also pretty close to the Sterling Renn Faire when that's in season.

A Good Deal

We stayed 1 night at the Beacons and everything was positive.  The staff was professional, the room was clean and highly functional.  Breakfast was exactly what was described.  They even had a white noise sound machine outside our door to cut the possible lobby noise. We were one room away from the lobby and never heard a thing. Would stay again!

Beacon will see us return!

The staff was very helpful. Despite being VERY short on staff they made sure that we had everything we needed to make our 6 day stay wonderful. The room was beautiful decorated, clean and surprisingly quiet even though our windows faced the busy street. 

Would stay there again any time.

Friendly Staff, beautiful surroundings.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beacon during our recent family trip through Oswego. The staff was so friendly and helpful - great recommendations for tings to do and places to eat. Our room was immaculate! We also enjoyed the lounge downstairs where we got to rest or chat with other travelers. Oswego was a great town to explore on foot - highly recommend!

Terrific place to stay!

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing establishment when we went to the Sterling Renaissance Fair last month.  We stayed in the upstairs King sweet.  The hotel was AMAZING!  The staff was so accommodating and made us feel like home.  It is so clean and beautiful.  It has a vintage charm and the room was just fantastic.  The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect.  Their breakfast spread was delicious and anything we were in need of, they easily assisted with.  I can't wait to stay with them in the future.  I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner when we booked then meeting her one night when we needed an item.  She is so pleasant to talk to and just really runs a beautiful establishment.  Again, canot recommend enough!!!!
