NANTUCKET INN #3- Filthy stench in an overly stuffy room upon arriving, which after the room cooled down turned out to be DOG URINE on the carpets. The couches were covered in dog hair that took housekeeping over a half an hour to vacuum (and yes, it was so bad we had to call the front desk to have that corrected), non-existent bottom "stairs to the beach" which is an ADA nightmare for people with disabilities (not sure what happen there)- so NO BEACH ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. When I went to move the vacuum cleaner in the bedroom from in front of the heater the canister that was not secured properly flew out and landed on my foot bruising my right toe. I took a spa tub around 11:30 that night and listened to the neighbors BARKING DOGS THE ENTIRE TIME! I saw black mold on the dingy, unwashed tiles and got out. How scary and unrelaxing. I called the front desk the next morning and informed them that we could NOT stay the second night, that we would be checking out a full day early because the room was filthy, the neighbor's way too loud. Not a fan of black mold. I was told Monday morning that "Management" would call me later that day to "work something out for me, because all they could offer me was to for me to pack up and move somewhere else, which is NOT what I wanted for nearly $500.00 and a disability. I am still waiting for that phone call.  It's shameful. 

This used to be a luxury destination. What happened in the last 14 months I have no idea. New management? It is now a dog motel 6. Enjoy.

Mold and dog hair and bruises oh my

Very disappointed...not like what it looked like online at all. Stepping in the door...the overwhelming odor of something very floral was the first thing that hit us. We wondered if it was air spray??? but it seems it was everything from the bedding to the kitchen towel to the bath towels being laundered in something that had such a strong floral smell...which made me gag when I was trying to sleep with my head on the pillow. The white bed cover had 2 large stains, it looks like they came from the leak in the ceiling over the bed. The shower curtain had black mold. The bathroom only had ONE hand towel...and the bath towels had so much fabric softener on them they wouldn't dry anything. The windows were so old, it was hard to see out let alone see the ocean. The dishes provided had been put away dirty. Some ladies next to us had lost their key and the person that showed up when they called him for help was brusque and not very friendly. He refused to give them his key because he said he only had the one & suggested they should leave the door unlocked when they left. REALLY??? This is the first time we have ever been so disappointed with a motel & we would never return.

We stayed in unit 2. 
The view was fantastic! Hot tub on the deck was amazing to relax in! (You can set the temperature as you desire) there is a restaurant just a few door's down, less than a mile to the casino. Everything was functional but things could be upgraded. The fan was super dirty and we had to clean that before we could use it, Everything else seemed clean. Easy check in/out process, overall we'd stay here again

Hot tub relaxing 

It was clean, spacious, literally right on the ocean to the point the waves made the building shake. Nice view. Small kitchenette with a microwave and a tiny fridge/freezer that I could not adjust the shelves in which made it difficult to store drinks. Comfortable, large bed and two couches. The television was very high on the wall for some reason, had to tilt our heads back to watch.
The enormous bathtub was hard to get in/out of and it did not drain. We ended up ankle-deep in our shower water, which was luke-warm at best. We tried different times of the day to see if we could have more hot water, but it never got hot. Not even hot enough to do the dishes adequately. I had wanted to take a bath when I first saw the tub but the water would be nowhere near hot enough for it to be enjoyable.
The shared hot tub was right below our window and the first night, drunk girls squealed and shouted for an hour; we could hear them through the walls once they went inside, but it was muffled.

Nice view, comfy furnishings, cold shower.

Rented this property in April. New management took over in May, our reservation was changed so we did not get the unit we reserved, for our honeymoon. Instead we got an upstairs unit with no hot tub, the jetted tub faces the front door, and leaks, the shower head will not shut fully off so it took over 10 minutes to fill the tub. The unit was not even properly cleaned, makeup on the wall of the bathroom, trash in the corners of the living room and some plastic thing in a drawer with the Zelda emblem. The tv is essentially unwatchable as the ratio is not set properly, almost a quarter of the screen on each side is cut off. The table does not sit level, had to use a towel to keep it from wobbling. The bathroom door is beginning to rot from wetness, cracks in the ceiling and walls. Only one of the 3 windows had a screen on it. When we arrived at check in on Friday at 5pm the heater was on full blast, it was 87 degrees in the unit. The kitchenette consisted of a 3 cup pot, 2 coffee cups, filters and nothing else, no coffee, no silverware, no plates, but they made sure there was dish soap. When we called to complain the only answer, after calling twice to get through to someone was " the person who handles the transfer from the old management has left for the day and all the other units are booked, but on a positive note, congratulations on getting married. I hope you have a great rest of your day." Absolutely unacceptable for a supposed 4 star rated location. I am including pictures of the issues found within the first 2 hours of being here.

Waste of money

it would be nice if you have plastic silverware and more cups in the room (full kitchen even better?? ) . We have to bring our own cups? Bigger coffee maker would be nice too . O and on the check out the instructions say pick up the phone and dial 0 !! Which did not work. You need to updated your instructions you hand out......
The room was nice and great ocean view and access to the beach for walking . This is our 2nd time at this rental and had the same room.  We will be back - love the location to everything

Beach Getaway !!

Nice room, good location, high expectations, disappointed.
It doesn't take a lot to take a basic room to the next level as a great destination. Service was so-so. The girl at the front desk of the Starfish Manor was pleasant, but when I asked how to get to the Nantucket Inn, she didn't know. When I called and told them my pillows were so hard I had the worst sleep I can recall, they said they didn't have any softer pillows. The card in the room said there was no ice machine and there was no offer that we could get ice at either of the sister properties. Little things, I know, but they add up.
When there's a sink, microwave, and refrigerator, there should probably be more than a pair of glass coffee mugs. A few plates, some basic silverware, a few other glasses. Why have a café table and a large window only to use it as a night stand and bury it in the corner? Moving around furniture isn't that hard, but the wobbly chair made for a better night stand and allowed us to place the table where it could be accessed by 2 and actually used to eat at. Again, little things, but they matter.
It's great to have a huge bathroom, but if it's freezing cold it's not a pleasant room to be in. Heat lamps look like they're generating some heat, but they don't and hard tile floors only exacerbate the issue. Pedestal sinks look good, but if there aren't any shelves of some sort, there's no place to put a toiletry bag. Small toilets in large rooms not only look cheap and out of place, but don't recognize male anatomy and speak to a callous disregard.
It's nice to have a large closet, but it would help to augment that with more than 4 hangers or possibly a small dresser or set of shelves in part of the closet to provide some storage space. Having one suitcase stand helped a bit, but we had two bags and didn't have any place to put clothes. It may be unreasonable to expect a host to recognize that guests want to have access to their attire, but that's why we're overall disappointed. 
In this age where huge televisions are available to just a few hundred dollars, having a 24" TV is out of sync with market realities. Peeling paint also makes the place seem neglected and there's no logic to the lights that weren't on in the dark stairwell leading up to Unit #5 except for late one evening. There must be a switch somewhere, but we never found it.
Overall, it was an OK place, but if your expectations are for "Most bestest ever", "Cozy Beach Getaway", or "A jewel stumbled upon" you should probably adjust your expectations. We'll keep looking for alternatives!

The details matter

The staff at check in/out we're inviting and had smiles on their face. What a wonderful and amazing experience!!! I've NEVER had a better stay at the beach and will definitely be gunning for the same rental I had time and time again!!! The ONLY thing  I would change about it all is for the room to have a Keurig and that's just because I've spoiled myself with one at home. Thanks for the experience of Nantucket inn! I will for sure be returning!

Most bestest ever

Very clean and well kept 2 bedroom unit with hot tub on the deck and fantastic oceanfront view from the dining and living rooms,  Just steps to the beach.  
Great for storm watching, complete with a gas fireplace and full kitchen.  There is also a jetted tub in the bathroom.  We will definitely be back!

Cozy Beach Getaway!

The penthouse, assigned to us somehow, is very clean, very private, well appointed and the view utterly beautiful.  If I had spent a honeymoon here, I'd probably still be married to my second spouse. The background drone of the surf, the far views, the birds, and the clean air will forever be in our minds as WOW!  Minor faults at most (stairs?!?), a darkened entry, a touchy thermostat:  mere nothings. We didn't get down to the beach, as it was a bit chill, and then there are stairs and our legs doth protest at same. We're no longer young, of debatable wisdom, but had a fabulous stay.  Highly suggested for peace and quiet.  And the burgers at 101 Burgers are delicious; try the 303 version!  Thanks, Lincoln City, very nice!
