The room was amazing, staff was friendly and overall just a great place to stay. Renovated rooms with gradient sinks and low rates would definieity recommend to anyone in the area. Much as changed with new management that seems to be turning this place around.

the room I rented at the deluxe inn in Grand prairie was filthy and they won't refund the room price claiming I had paid and they wont return my money $260 !! I attempted to contact the manager and was given the run around , upon further investigation I found all deluxe inns are now privately owned and no nobody will tell you who the owner is leaving the customer holding the bag

i booked a room at the Delux inn in Grand prarie and was appalled at the dirt and filth of the room !!

If I could, I would give this place a -5* rating. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE AND NEVER BOOK IT THROUGH HOTELS.COM!!!!

On Friday, June 24, 2016, at about 6PM, I made an online reservation [not a guaranteed booking] with Hotels.com for a one night stay at this establishment.

When I arrived at about 6:30PM, I felt very uncomfortable about the location and condition of the premises.

This place is located on the main street through town but in a dying section of the town. Everything in that area is rundown and dirty.

There were some "unsavory" looking people in the parking lot and standing at several of the doors to rooms in this place. I got the impression that there was drug deals being done in the parking lot and that the women standing in the open doors were hookers. 

However, I needed a place to stay and at the time I believed this was the only thing available in town according to my search on Hotels. com. So I parked my truck and went into the lobby.

When I stepped inside, I saw the lobby was half filled with junk stacked to the ceiling and it was very untidy and dirty. That was a "red flag" to me. However, I told the two guys at the desk [the owners] that I had made a reservation online with Hotels.com for a one-night stay.

We had a discussion about my method of payment. I questioned why they were asking for payment as I had never had to pay any motel directly whenever I have booked a reservation with Hotels.com. I was told that their association with Hotels.com had ended over a year ago. That was another "red flag" warning for me. However, upon review of the email confirmation of the reservation from Hotels.com on my phone, I saw that was what was being required.

I completed the paperwork for the stay and before I could give my credit card to the owner/ desk clerk for the payment of the booking, the manager of the hotel where I had previously stayed for 5 days called me to tell me that a room had become available for me. I opted to return to my previous hotel and told the owner/desk clerk that I would not be staying at his facility and clearly stated that I wanted to cancel the reservation. Then I left and I never gave them my credit card! I should have also picked up the registration card that I had signed when I left.

The next morning, to my surprise, when I checked my credit card account online, I discovered these guys had acquired my card number from Hotels.com and, without my knowledge or permission, charged $60 to my card after I had told them to cancel my reservation. I immediately called this flea bag motel and complained about what they had done and requested an immediate refund my $60. The owner laughed at me and said, "Too bad for you. Your reservations was guaranteed by Hotels.com and is nonrefundable." Then he hung up on me.

The owners of the obviously financially distressed business lack integrity, use deceptive business practices and are not beyond out-right theft.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!  STAY AWAY!!!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay so that I could drop him off and the bus stop the next morning without having to fight traffic. We arrived at this particular hotel and we saw a young boy out front in a computer chair twirling around with headphones on his head. I jokingly told my husband that was the front desk rep. We walked passed him into the supposed lobby and he came in right behind. You could imagine my eyes were huge after that. We checked into the room after a long check in process and it was horrid. I didn't say much because my husband just wanted to take a shower. While he was doing that I checked the bed before I sat down(thank God) to find bed bugs along to lining of the bed. I called front desk to inform them. The owner/mom of the front desk clerk came up to check before moving me as if I was lying. Then she stated that someone that had an extended stay was in this room and never complained. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ME!!! I insisted that we move... We did, right down the breeze way. IT WAS WORSE!! It had obvious blood stains on the sheets and so much more. I left my husband at that dump(i know, I know I was wrong), I could not stay there I stayed with my mom as my husband informed me that he slept on the floor as it was cleaner than the bed

Horrid

We checked in lastnite 7/9/14 for one night paid $56, got up the next morning and our daughter was covered with bed bug bites we brought it to there attention and they were rude and denigned it said that it was a new bed and they had the best people treating there rooms. I have taken pictures and my child has a doctors appointment for it because she is having a reaction to so many bites, they have not heard the last of me yet. We are outraged!!!!
