This motel will soon be gone and not too soon.  There is nothing "hotel" about it. For those who have had a poor experience at this place, there are many other choices of quality lodging in Abilene, Texas.

Bye, Bye

The woman on reception informed us as we arrived that the room was “nothing fancy, but clean”. Ok, expectations duly lowered. I would absolutely have accepted something that was not fancy but clean, but what we were in fact presented with was something that was neither fancy nor clean. The bathroom was an absolute abomination. A rust-encrusted plug hole that I first assumed was some kind of dirty protest from the previous guest. Rice paper thin towels that covered less than half of my (not large) body, covered in unspeakable stains that I unfortunately only noticed once they were wrapped around me. One incredibly stingy roll of toilet paper that was non absorbent and fell apart when you touched it, not ideal for its job. Bed was hard and duvets smelled of someone else’s sweat, so spent a freezing night trying to keep it away from me. Internet is absolutely crap - sending an email from here took about 20min. I’ve been to some pretty shoddy places in my life without complaint and like to think my standards are fairly appropriate for a decent night’s sleep but this was just silly, clearly no effort put into cleaning the place at all or making it comfortable for guests. Don’t run a hotel if you don’t want people to turn up, with suitcases, inevitably annoyed. 

What the hell guys 

I will NEVER stay at this hotel EVER again. First night we checked in and went to visit friends. Came back and my sleeping child had a bed bug on the pillow. We decided to check the beds and there was another bed bug in the pillow. Went to front desk with bed bugs in key envelope showed the desk clerk and guy said I would have to wait until the next morning when the owner came in. Next day I went and showed the owner who swears I bought bugs in with me. She moved us rooms and it was fine, except the toilet didn't flush, and the tub.... (pictured) we couldn't use the shower because it leaks to the room below. I was so happy to leave that dump. Never again. And we had to buy candles and febreeze to make the room smell decent.

I like staff, room and dolphin in front of the hotel nice. I like the place it downtown and walk around had good food in spicy India which is in the hotel. I will recommend every one who want to stay in down have nice food

Good stay

The staff are unfriendly, and not present. The room has not changed since the 2012 reviews or gotten worse. Bathrooms tubs have mildew and paint coming off, the beds are disgusting the sheets are leftovers of trailer house fires. Every room smells of smoke damage and drug user pieces left under beds nightstands. Wiring for lights and refridgerators, are spliced very badly. Carpets are disgusting and floors even more so. Pool is so filthy and green. The ice machines do not work and are not being repaired. Breakfast is not free and tastes like chalk. Annoying people that mooch off of everyone. disrupting every person in the complex. Drug infested people banging on doors every night asking if you want to buy drugs or hook up with a prostitute. Most the furniture looks to be remnants of hurricane Katrina. Microwaves are filthy you have to buy cleaning supplies house keeping is non-existent. Do Not Stay Here even though it is priced lower than other places the reasons are listed above. Black mold on the floors and ceilings. Pictures hung upside down depicting southern items as lack of respect.

This place should be condemned, torn down, and a parking lot put in.

The rates are fair & the property is close to our business venue, but after someone knocking on our door late at night/early morning for the second trip, we will no longer stay here. No soap in the room the first night, no cups, coffe or ice bucket. Lots of people roaming at night. We feel VERY unsafe here.
