We were a group of 10 celebrating two birthdays.  Can highly recommend The Manor for a large gathering.  It's very spacious, has a huge sitting room (plenty of sofa space), big wood burner and large dining table for communal eating.  5 double bedrooms (plus extra beds if you need),  tastefully furnished.  The village is lovely and we ate at The George Pub which was good.

We stayed for two nights recently.
The building is 500 years old but been professionally renovated by the owner himself, who also lives onsite. Not like some of the serviced accommodations, if you  need him for anything, he is only one door away.
Parking is to the right through a narrow drive way at rear of the building. 
Full English breakfast is freshly cooked to order. The quantity was plenty enough for us. 
Bed was extremely comfortable. The BEST I've stayed away from home. Rooms are very clean.
There's a big lounge with a small kitchen so if you want to chill out in the evenings, the owner is quite happy for you to do so.
It's 15 minutes drive to Odd Down park&ride station for Bath. it then takes 10 minutes to get into Bath centre. Super easy and cheap compare to driving in  yourself.

Was visiting Longleat safari park and wanted somewhere close by, this was a 20 min drive away, based in a lovely little village. The owner Simon was very friendly, he told us about the area and recommended somewhere to eat, we had a lovely big family room, no tea or coffee making facilities but down stairs was a kitchen for guests use. Breakfast was on a cooked to order plus cereal and toast, on a big communal table which was a bit odd but not off putting. We had a lovely stay, once home my daughter realised she had left her favourite teddy behind, Simon found it and sent it on to us. Definitely recommend this place if your in the area.

This is a beautifully restored manor dating from medieval times, and the family who owns and runs this charming B&B (there is also the option of self catering) are very hospitable. We had a lovely overnight in the Lyde Green room that has a four-postee bed, and it was very quiet and idyllic. The manor is tucked away in a tiny hamlet but is an easy 20-minute drive to Bath. Highly recommend this hidden gem of a place for those who are looking for a haven of rest. 

We had an amazing weekend stay to celebrate my 30th birthday with family and 
friends. The house is just perfect. It was very clean throughout and all the rooms were much bigger then they look in the photos. We spent most of our time in the living/dining area which was really spacious and great for our party of 14. 
Sarah was very friendly, helpful and a great host. 
I would definitely recommend At the Manor. 

14 of us stayed from Friday to Sunday for my sisters hen party and it was fantastic. The house in person is SO much more gorgeous than the pictures and the open plan living entertainment area was just perfect - we spent most of time in here or out in the courtyard. The house is like a little maze and we all got lost to begin with, but shortly found our way to our right bedrooms! Sarah and her husband were great to deal with and very helpful and friendly when I needed help connecting the TV etc. Other than when I needed her help, she left us too it. The weather was better than expected too we spent a lot of time out in the courtyard at the back of the house which was great - a table big enough for all 14 of us to eat dinner and play some games out there on the first night. 
We hired a private chef on the Saturday night and this worked really well - considering she was working from the smaller secret kitchen, it was superb. 
The Village is gorgeous, proximity to bath is perfect, overall a gorgeous homely house where we all had an amazing weekend. Would definitely consider booking and staying again. Thank you!

A group of three of us were visiting Bath and decided to stay a little out of town and were looking for a place with "atmosphere". We couldn't have picked a better place. It was very spacious even with 3 of us in one room. Being use to New York City size rooms made it feel more like an apartment than a room. The king size bed was very comfortable. The common space was very clean and well supplied with the exception of a drink jigger, we made do though. Breakfast was delicious and Simon was very nice to answer all of our questions about the house. It was a delightful experience and is a great value.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Very friendly host, nice dog, comfortable bed, enormous bathroom.  There is a small kitchen where you can make tea or coffee, however you will have to bring your own. There’s a Co-op just up the road. Highly recommend a dinner at the 700 year old The George and a walk around the village. There are many old and interesting homes.
