Service from Day 1 to the last was great. Matt/Andy were very welcoming and always helpful during the stay
Excellent quality room and bed with nice modern bathroom and shower.
Breakfast was great with plenty of options.
Overall very positive experience for first time travelling to Devon/Torquay. Highly recommend.

Very near to Torre station, bus station was very near which made transport very convenient. Room.was very confortable and warm, very good service and nice breakfast. Andy & Matt made sure I have a nice stay. Will stay there again should I return to Torquay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay at Stoverlodge

This is the second time we've stayed with Matt and Andy and it certainly won't be the last. They have a lot of repeat guests, which says it all.
The accommodation is spotless and extremely comfortable, the breakfast is lovely (I'm vegetarian and my wife had Greek yogurt with blueberries followed by porridge).
Best of all Matt and Andy are lovely. 
They aren't at all intrusive, but are happy to have a nice chat and always want to make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay a great one.
Strongly recommend that you book up, but leave a room free for us!

Lovely stay (again).

Hosts Matt and Andy so welcoming on arrival - room was so lovely and warm and by far the best room I have ever stayed in - beautifully decorated and so modern - plenty of tea and coffee etc and the snack chocolate bars were a fab touch - hairdryer and iron also at hand and the bed was so comfortable- choices at breakfast were amazing and the full English really filled us up for the day - nothing was too much trouble - Matt and Andy are amazing - don’t pass this one by it’s a gem.

We had a wonderful stay here. Outstanding room. Nice and warm. Comfortable bed and lovely en-suite. Excellent breakfast. Nicely positioned. Bus stop right outside. Matt and Andy made us feel very welcome. Also handy for visiting Torbay hospital. This was the reason for our stay.

Family Visit

My wife and I have just returned from a brilliant stay with hosts Matt and Andy.
More than ample off road parking.
Bus and rail links just a short walk away.
Fantastic breakfasts, sumptuous accommodation, and wonderful hosts who go over and above to ensure their guests enjoy their stay.

I've been staying here now almost weekly for over 3 months. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Matt and Andy are so welcoming and always accommodate me for early breakfasts to fit with my working day. The rooms are cosy very very well supplied and they are absolutely spotless. A short walk to all amenities means you also have the perfect location. I couldn't recommend Stover Lodge more.

Perfect!

We had another excellent stay at Stover lodge second time this year.Matt and Andy are great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble.It is spotlessly clean.Decor is lovely .Rooms are spacious.Good shower,nice view of the garden.Breakfast is plenty full they will do you want ever you want.We we’re looked after very well.Thank you Matt and Andy for making us welcome and for the lovely chocolates.Very comfortable bed.Near to the railway station,bus stop outside that takes you to various locations.Look forward to seeing you both next year.Enjoy the ABBA concert.Pat and Roger.

The best place to stay in Torquay

Found this gem on booking .com and the reviews were spot on, fantastic hosts, clean and tidy with everything you need, Breakfast was plentiful with good variety and it was delicious (Thanks Andy). We preferred to walk into Torquay which took us about 20min max but there is a bus stop just outside for those with limited mobility so the distance into Torquay isn’t a problem for anyone and obviously wants you get into town there is plenty of shops/restaurants/bars/cafes etc so as and when we return to Torquay this will be are destination of choice to stop at. A big thanks again to you both and look forward to seeing you again soon.

It is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was very tasty and beautifully presented.
Both owners are very lovely and welcoming people, they make sure that you get everything you need.
The location is also good, the bus stop is just a few steps away and a train station is across the road, the walk to the sea front takes about 20min. 
We will definitely go there again!
