No staff on reception, when she did arrive she was coughing  and hacking anll over the counter and us and shouldn’t have been at work. Everything in front of her became infected. Just arrived home after 3 days, now we are.

Harvester was short drinks.

Evening food was very good, breakfast average. 2nd day breakfast very poor..

We decided to eat in the evening at the other Premier In.  as they did have a good selection of drinks

Bed great, no ales ar bar, hotel a bit worn, grounds shabby

Lovely staff and a very comfortable bed. I will stay here again when I come back to Tonbridge, and as an added bonus, The Vauxhall is right next door with excellent food and staff 🙏🏼 They even helped me tie my tie and how to use a pocket square. 🤗

The first room we were offered smelled very damp so we asked for an alternative - whoever has to spend a night in that room has our sympathy.  While the second room smelled better in the bedroom, the bathroom was another matter.  The receptionist valiantly cleaned off the wet areas of unknown origin on the loo seat, the loo still smelled every time the lid was opened before use.  The seat was a strange pinkish colour with orange urine stains around the edges (photographs available).  Is it too much to ask Premier Inn to change loo seats when they are stained with urine and the plastic   smells rank?  Clearly it is too much at Tonbridge South!  We spent as little time in the bathroom as possible, opting not to shower as a result.  Being in there was very unpleasant..  We ended our stay after one night choosing to forfeit our payment that had been paid in advance rather than stay in the room any longer.
We always look forward to Premier Inn breakfasts but what we were offered at Tonbridge South was an insult to your brand.  The printed "menu" was shorter than usual with one further item crossed out with marker pen and other items just "missing".  The only fruit offered was a bowl containing an few oranges, bananas and apples - no berry mix or fruit salad, and staff had to be reminded to restock the marmalade although only a limited number of tables were in use at any one time.  We went for a cooked breakfast but both the bacon and sausage appeared undercooked (flabby fat and very pale respectively) (Again photographs available).  The bench seating was very worn out.
We had thought that Premier Inn centrally had some control over standards, but this appears not to be the case.  For us in future it will be buyer beware! 

Very run down...

Good nights sleep, but very disappointing breakfast. We were told that the breakfast hours were more limited than advertised. However upon arrival at breakfast on time, we were told that the kitchen was closed and that only an extremely limited cold breakfast was available.

As usual, a great stay. Not been to this hotel before but it was a great location, good value, free parking. Brilliant friendly receptionist and hotel helpfully accommodated my request for a ground floor room.  Also appreciated the flexibility to re-arrange my travel dates even with standard booking. The usual great breakfast! Will stay again!

Another excellent stay with Premier Inn

Ideal location for attending business trip.  Arrival on reception was busy and glad to get to room after a long day.  Sadly the room smelled of stale smoke and did not appear to have been adequately cleaned or aired.  Reception was too busy to be able to speak to someone about it.  Slept with the windows open and left as soon as poaaible.  Would not stay here again.

Clean tidy and a good nights sleep but the breakfast the next morning was a little disappointing and not hot.  The road noise was continuous early morning. However. it was reasonably priced  and an ideal location to visit a close family friend and the memorial RAF garden at Biggin Hill Air field.

It was a pleasure to stay in my favourite Tonbridge Hotel again last month.
I was especially impressed with receptionist Alison, who's excellent service was second to none!
I can't wait  to return in January.

Been coming here at least once a  year for 15 years, room 7 very tired, broken sockets pull out bed springs coming through the edge, dusty lack of attention to detail, sticky patch on pillow, leaking shower tap when you pull the knob up water comes out of the tap Sideways over the floor, paint missing from the corner of the wall cracks in the top od the walls cobwebs, really a shame and to top all of that off booked 4 adults for breakfast got to Inn to be told the cooker is broken so no hot food.
And then finally a total lack of response from Premier Inn customer complaints department, they seem to have a standard response and process, we will get back to you in a week!! If you have any issues in the room you must ask to be moved straight away dont accept any problems or issues, lesson learnt for us. 

Worst stay in 15 years

Modern and clean need a re pating in some places but over all we had a good night sleep and would come back again. Great pub as well wich is located next to the premier inn. Staff were help full to in premier inn. Definitely recommend.
