This Premier Inn was really good. I loved the Premier Plus room with all the little extras. It was a well thought out room, plug sockets and mirrors situated well for getting ready. Green and Black chocolates were a nice touch :) All the staff were lovely. I checked in with my grandchildren and the receptionist gave them Easter packs even though they weren't staying with me. The location was great for me as convenient for visiting family but it really isn't that far from city centre and the local taxis aren't too expensive. I really enjoyed my stay here.

A great stay

I had driven 4 and a half hours from Manchester to Salisbury to see my fiancé who is working away for a while… my car had broken down and I called premier inn in a panic and was immediately through to Geena on reception who was able to put my mind at ease and advise I was checked in and not to worry. Upon arrival I met with Geena who had explained that she had left a little treat to help me settle in, which was very much needed! Thank you Geena ! 🤍

Breakdown

Great hotel! Larger than usual rooms and attentive reception staff. The hotel is quiet and not too far from Salisbury city centre. Breakfast is in the adjoining restaurant that also beings to the Hampton Inn.

Will stay here again if in Salisbury again

Alice or whatever her name is woman's name begins with A, She's great at salmon fish, damn it was so nice. Just had to compliment her, for getting the salmon just right and delicious. Quick timing in cooking as well. Great woman to talk to. Coming back when she's here ever in the future, for the food she cooks nice.

Wonderful chef on point

Arrived in the afternoon 9/4/24 and discovered that the room booked for my 95yr old mum and I (an unfit 68yr old female) was on the 2nd floor and no lift!  The lady on reception managed to juggle rooms and then went off to make up the bed settee in a room on the ground floor.
She was so helpful and friendly even though we had caused her extra work.
The room itself was to the usual standard of cleanliness we have come to expect of a Premier inn but there was a ceiling bulb out and a desk lamp not working (room 8).  The only other down side was the height of the bed, this 5’ 5” person found it very hard work getting into bed ☺️

Help from reception staff

Premier Inn very rarely disappoint. This visit although very brief met all our expectations except for the Table Table dinner which did not touch the sides! We are not big eaters either! We did not book - restaurant very quiet. Wish we had researched other options available. Apparently pub with good food some 3/4 miles away. We were not hanging around on this occasion so purchased breakfast from the garage down the road.

You know what to expect when you stay with premier so was not disappointed 

Staff friendly and helpful 

The restaurant was good as the food was hot and tasty especially as there were not many staff waiting on tables. But they did an excellent job displaying good customer service as one women felt the need to moan about everything and was extremely rude to the staff who were very polite

Nice

We stayed at North Bishopdown because they have Premier Plus rooms which are a bit more spacious. The room was clean and quiet and we slept well. The food is not spectacular, but, after being delayed and arriving late on Friday, it was good to know that they serve meals up to 9.45pm and my burger and chips was tasty and the service was good.
The hotel is a good base for visiting the city. 
The coffee machine broke down during breakfast on Sunday, but Mandy, a very personable and helpful waitress, made sure I got a fresh coffee when I told her that, as a coffee snob, I couldn't drink instant. Thanks, Mandy. 
It's not a boutique hotel, but it's pretty good, staff were helpful and I'd certainly stay there again.

A Weekend in Salisbury

Generally we were happy with the facilities provided. When it came to the EM it arrived on cold plates, food although cooked well was moderately warm which spoiled the evening. We raised this with the staff who were very apologetic and quickly resolved the situation. 

Convenient place

I only required a 1 night stay close to the edge of Salisbury and its location, ease of parking, friendly booking in staff and a clean, comfortable room was what I got.
Wifi is not secure and tea/coffee provision very limited but other than that 5 *'s all round!
