Sunnybank is a very warm,exceptionally clean and friendly B&B. Peter was very attentive and greeted us with a smile every morning 🙂 nothing was too much trouble.

Breakfast was superb 👌 

Room 1 was very comfortable and spacious there was a little treat of homemade welshcakes.

Excellent warm and friendly B&B 

Located on a quiet street 5 min walk from town centre.  Train station also 5 mins away. The room (2). Was spotlessly clean, king size comfortable bed with good quality linen on it, also good quality towels.  We always strip the bed on our departure from any hotel/B&B etc and sometimes we wish we hadn’t seeing what  we have been sleeping on….NOT this time, beneath the sheets was just as clean as above them. Had 2 really good nights sleep in that bed.  Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Decent shower with good flow of water.  Tea and coffee facilities provided with FRESH milk in a small bottle in the fridge non of your UHT stuff here.   Our host also provided 2 melt in the mouth Welsh Cakes for us, which were very much appreciated.  Breakfast cooked by the elusive David 😊. Was made from good quality ingredients, no powdered eggs or cheap sausages. No sign of any grease on the plates and it was piping hot and plentiful.  There is a good range of breakfast ingredients to choose from, just make your choice the day before and it will be provided as requested at your chosen time.  Peter is the perfect host, very helpful and greeted us both mornings with a smile and soft music in the dining room.   This is an old Victorian building but in great condition, it has quite steep stairs so if you have difficulty with stairs ask for a first floor room, or if you really struggle with stairs then unfortunately for you this Hotel is not for you.  Will we stay here again….absolutely. Thank you Peter and David, you made our stay perfect 😊😊

Absolute Gem.

Convenient location with parking often available for free on the street or if not just around the corner at railway station £4.25 for 24 hrs. The room was a little tight on space and would be very warm in mid summer - hence the fan provided. It was comfortable and on the face of it clean but you felt observing the nooks and crannies that it needed a deep clean.  The host was very pleasant and the breakfast plentiful and tasty. However I was a little disappointed that there was no fresh fruit at all.
Overall a very pleasant stay but not one I would shout from the rooftops about

David and Peter, Thank you for making us feel so welcome! Even before our arrival, David was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and just information in general. The first night we didn’t know how to get to the restaurant and Peter walked us almost to the door! He was also kind enough to charge the breakfast time since we were on tour.
The room was lovely, the breakfast marvelous (I am gluten-free and they took such care with my choices) and the location ideal.
These are people who are in their element as hoteliers. We felt so welcome and look forward to staying again.

We had a great stay at Sunny Bank - we can't thank Peter and David enough! The room was spotless (and contained tasty homemade welsh cakes!) and we had a lovely breakfast every morning from David to set us up for the day. Peter was so attentive and friendly - he created a great atmosphere that made us feel so welcome and was more than willing to share his wealth of knowledge about Tenby and its history. We would definitely stay again and encourage anyone to stay at Sunny Bank for great hospitality, lovely food, and of course the fantastic sights of Tenby all within walking distance!

Lovely Guest House.

Thankyou Pete & David for being so accommodating and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, you couldn’t do enough for us! And David’s welshcakes were insane! (I would come again just for these) 
Rooms were spotless with tea, coffee, milk, fresh towels.
Location is central to Tenby and a 10min taxi to Saundersfoot. Or a lovely coastal walk to saundersfoot which takes over 1hr but quite hilly. 
We enjoyed our stay so much we requested another night to which we got moved to the suite, it was even more comfortable than the standard double room which we loved anyway! We went for a nice costal walk whilst Pete got our room ready and even moved over our luggage for us, with MORE fresh Welshcakes! 
We love how Pete remembered our names and made us feel at home. You can tell he’s passionate about his b&b and wants the best stay for his visitors.
Breakfast was pre order to reduce waste which is even better as it was all made fresh, it was a definite 5* from us and poached eggs were perfect!
We visit Tenby regularly and stayed numerous places but this will be our first choice from now and our favourite. Thankyou guys! Highly recommend.

Loved our stay!

What a fabulous find! We had two nights at the guest house. From the moment we arrived to the time we left it was a fantastic stay. We had a very warm welcome in which everything was explained ie breakfast routines and where the town was etc. The guesthouse itself  is amazing beautifully clean and every need met ie hairdryer shower gel etc. There is also a fridge in the room and the most amazing homemade Welsh cakes (thanks David) all in all I would highly recommend this guesthouse as it truly was the perfect stay.

Our booking was made a few months ago for three middle age couples through booking.com.  Today I find that our booking had been cancelled by the guest house by email .  I am deeply upset as it has cost us a couple of hundred pounds to get there by Train and was cancelled  at short notice is unacceptable.  This guest house stated we don’t take group bookings ?  I stated we booked this months ago,!!

Be very careful of booking this Guest House !,! As could leave you out of pocket !!

What a gem of a find in the heart of Tenby and right next to the station.
A fabulous welcome by Peter, the charming and friendly host, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touch of Welsh cakes to accompany the tea and coffee facilities.
Beautifully decorated room and so clean, comfortable and spacious.
Really great cooked breakfast - the omelette was gorgeous. 
Would highly recommend. I definitely would return.
