iv been here a few days now and booked in for a few more weeks and i can only say how brilliant the hosts are especially Darren the owner. Nothing is a bother very friendly atmosphere impeccably clean rooms with everything you will need on your stay here.would 100%recommend staying here to anyone customer service fantastic and comfortable immaculate rooms too. Brilliant place and location

ABSOLUTEY BRILLANT

We are currently staying at this guest house and could not be happier, it’s a great location on the beach and close to the stadium of light. The place is immaculately clean and has everything you need for a few nights stay, there is also the added bonus of a fridge and microwave in the room. All the bed linen and towels are so nice and have that fresh linen smell to them, the bed in our room is really comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time, I have never visited this area before and I am really impressed with its beach with all the restaurants along it and I would recommend waking down the beach front a little and visiting the stack with live bands and street food outlets. I would recommend the balmoral and terrace and will definitely stay here again while in the area.

Great place by the sea

I have stayed in a number of room at this property and every room was so clean, felt like home and had all the amenities I needed.
Beds are extremely comfortable, staff and owners are very professional but at the same time really friendly, they go over and above. 
The views from the rooms on the front are unreal and if you just want to chill I would definitely recommend sitting on the decking out the front. 
Loads of shops, restaurants  and pubs near by.
It’s the perfect guesthouse in the perfect location with perfect views.

Stunning places to stay and amazing views

We are currently staying here for 2 nights  whilst  visiting   family . The rooms are quite large and very clean  there is a fridge and microwave and Television in the room.  Parking outside the hotel which is a bonus. I would certainly be staying here again good value for money.

Excellent

Spent a few days at the Balmoral guest house, during the chaos of the caronavirus, rooms were comfortable and good value for money, the owner was very pleasant and helpful with knowledge of local shop that were still open, and transport still running, 
 Have made plans for me and my partner to return under more pleasant conditions, when things are back to normal

Great bnb good value for money

Once again what a excellent stay. Nothing to complicated 
Just easy and relaxing. We visit Sunderland every year to see my wife’s family and friends and I 100per cent wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My husband booked for one night as a surprise. I had never been to Toker, what a gem! The guest house was lovely, spotlessly clean and the four poster bed the comfiest ever. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was huge and delicious. Will definitely visit again. 

Undiscovered gem

Stayed here last week and all i can say is AMAZING. Darren is the most laid back guy i have ever met,not only did he make our stay easy and comfortable but was there when ever needed. Thank you Darren. The room was warm cosy and comfortable. The view was amazing to look at every morning. I didn’t go down to breakfast but my partner did and he said it was superb. I’ve stayed in many a hotel in my time but because of Darren’s easy go attitude we have booked to stay there again at the end of the year.
