The food was excellent good choice to pick from, very friendly staff, will definitely go again it has been awhile since I went to the George, Babraham wasn’t disappointed, it was very busy but that shows how good it is. Could do with a bigger car park

An old style typical pub with a Thai Restaurant in this pleasant North Cambridge village. Located in the high street it has (mostly) in street parking, the main entrance in the front opens to a lounge area with the Restaurant to the left. In the back is the "public" bar with a big TV and pool table with its own entrance and lovely veranda (perfect in the Summer). Changing real ales with a well stocked bar and lovely owners and staff complete the picture. Popular with locals and visitors alike (an adult English Academy almost next door) means it is well worth a visit.

The venue was chosen by our friends who live locally. There is a good choice from the printed menu, but we all selected from an alternative menu chalked up on the wall - 2 courses for £10, and a reasonable selection. The George was busy when we arrived but we were not kept waiting for our food and drinks orders to be taken. Both arrived without undue delay. The food was well cooked and the portions were generous. We were not rushed and so were able to enjoy the occasion.

We stopped at The George Inn on our way back from Cheltenham, after a long day at the races we were tired and hungry. 
Not being local we didn't know what the pub was like so took a chance, glad we did! 
Two courses for £10, I had breaded mushrooms then steak burger, my partner has bbq chicken wings and steak burger and my grandmother in law had soup of the day (leek and potato) and then chicken curry. 
The food was all hot and really tasty! We couldn't believe the value for money, literally not one complaint with the entire meal. 
The staff were also outstanding, friendly and really helpful. 
It was so good we went back on the Friday night. Would highly recommend. Shame we live so far away! 

Excellent service lead by Claire and her team. A nice venue to visit in extremely pleasant surroundings. Has a varied menu and charming dining room. Have visited previously and will certainly return. Lovely evening for members of Abington bowls club.

Good pub food served by lovely staff in good looking pub. I've nothing much more to say other than the toilets were very clean which is always nice! I have to type 200 words so I'm rambling a bit! Just a nice pub.

Very good food at a reasonable price but service could improve. There is a good selection of Drinks also at a good price. The beer garden is great at this pub and a good size play area for the kids to play on. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone seeking good tasting pub grub in a nice setting

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, have enjoyed food here often.

 Ordered some fish and it was riddled with bones. Have one stuck in my throat still hours later. 

Will never eat here again, laziness on chefs part.

Manager/Owner is so rude I wouldn't even bother coming back. Came last summer and food & service was fine,, was awful this time and even the waitress' could do with a smile. Spent £70 and didn't even get a thank you, we said thank you when paying and the Manager replied "Yeh" ....comically bad! Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return. The play area is all this pub has going for it.
